Jean Monnet Chair 'European Migration Studies' - UNITO

The University of Turin has hosted the 2024 COCUMINT seminar in the framework of the Jean Monnet Chair in European Migration Studies. This year, great speakers have investigated the nexus between cultural consumption and immigrant integration in cities and public spaces.

COCUMINT 2022-23: Consumption of cultural goods as driver of migrant integration - IMISCOE IMISCOE is the largest European network of scholars in the area of migration and integration. The focus is on comparative research and joint research projects.

Migration in the Neighbourhood of Europe (MINEU) Seminar analyses the dynamics of international flows and it intends to present the characteristics of the past, present and future migration dynamic in the Mediterranean. Demographic characteristics, education and labour participation and employment will be the main focus of the seminar.

In the frame of the Jean Monnet Chair of European Migration Studies, the University of Turin is glad to present "The Role of Consumption and Cultural Practices of Immigrants in Integration Processes."
The lecture will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 8, at the "Sala Lauree Blu" on the Luigi Einaudi Campus.
