Congratulations to our students at Vittoria International School who successfully completed their Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Silver Adventurous Journey, sponsored and organized by Rachel Felicia Jane Brooks.

Three intense days, immersed in the nature of Monferrato and Val di Susa, and without any comforts: your resilience, adaptability, and teamwork were exemplary. Not a single complaint, just lots of determination and smiles! You were fantastic!

This achievement is an important step in your personal growth, an unforgettable memory, and an immense value for your future (and your CV!).

☀️ Giugno STEM all'infanzia: gelati, bolle e il Big Bang.

Pipette e acqua colorata per capire la capillarità. Schiuma da barba per esplorare densità e materia. Bottiglie e calzini per creare serpenti di bolle. E poi — la domanda più grande — cos'è il Big Bang? Glielo abbiamo spiegato, e ognuno ne ha creato uno suo, con cartoncini e forme ritagliate a mano.

Tanti universi diversi, tutti ugualmente veri. Buona estate, esploratori. 🌊

☀️ StEM June at preschool: ice creams, bubbles and the Big Bang.

Pipettes and coloured water to explore capillarity. Shaving foam to play with density and states of matter. Bottles and socks turned into bubble snakes. And then — the biggest question of all — what is the Big Bang? We explained it, and each child created their own, cutting shapes from coloured cardboard.

So many different universes, all equally real. Happy summer, little explorers. 🌊

Rientro a casa dopo un anno nello spazio per l'infanzia 🚀🪐

Per la festa di fine anno dell'infanzia, i bambini di 3 e 4 anni hanno portato sul palco canzoni in italiano e inglese sullo spazio, tema che li ha accompagnati durante tutto l'anno scolastico.

I 5 anni si sono trasformati in pianeti e corpi celesti, presentandosi in rima in due lingue ✨ Spazio anche per la Terra e per il messaggio di proteggerla 🌍, prima della consegna dei diplomi e del lancio dei palloncini che li ha salutati verso la primaria.

Back home after a year in the nursery 🚀🪐

For the nursery’s end-of-year party, the 3- and 4-year-olds performed songs in Italian and English about space on stage – a theme that had been a central part of their learning throughout the school year.

The 5-year-olds transformed themselves into planets and celestial bodies, presenting themselves in rhyming form in two languages ✨ There was also a focus on Earth and the message to protect it 🌍, before the presentation of certificates and the release of balloons to send them off to primary school.

Graduation Day per le nostre 5^ elementari🎓

Discorsi, risate, qualche lacrima — e sketch scritti direttamente da loro. Le classi 5A e 5B hanno salutato la scuola primaria come meglio non si poteva: sul palco, con storie e personaggi nati dalla loro fantasia. Poi i diplomi, il lancio dei palloncini in giardino e le pizzette per tutti. Fine anno scolastico 2025/2026, versione 5^ elementare.

Graduation Day for our Year 5 classes 🎓

5A and 5B. Speeches, laughter, a few tears, and sketches written entirely by the kids themselves. They took the stage, diplomas in hand, and sent balloons up into the garden sky. That's a wrap on primary school, class of 2025/2026.

Scienza fuori dall'aula: la 1IB al Lago di Alice 🔬🏞️

Per il Collaborative Science Project, gli studenti della VIS hanno lasciato i banchi e raggiunto il Lago di Alice Superiore, in Val Chiusella. Campioni d'acqua raccolti direttamente sul lago, dati alla mano, e poi in laboratorio per le analisi: un progetto che intreccia le diverse scienze del Diploma Programme attorno a un unico caso di studio reale.

Science beyond the classroom: 1IB at Lake Alice. 🔬🏞️

For their Collaborative Science Project, our VIS students swapped their desks for the shores of Lago di Alice Superiore, in Val Chiusella. Water samples collected straight from the lake, data in hand, then off to the lab for analysis: a project that weaves together the different Diploma Programme sciences around one real case study.
