Layered Moineau Pump On-going research on multi-layer Moineau-like pump ¬easier to build and implement¬ for pumping a controlled quantity of viscous material -open source

We report on our on-going research for a ad-hoc Moineau pump to build a volumetric extruder of pellets. We introduce an alternative multi-layer Moineau-like pump ¬easier to build and implement¬ for pumping a controlled quantity of viscous material in vertical direction. The latter, our screw pump model 131313, consists of a steer Auger portion which increases the pressure inside a layered double-helix stator-like container as a layered helical rotor-like is turned.

"CNC simulation of Scifablab's prototype for a dual spiral stator": Mahor.xyz has carried out a computer simulation to show that our Stator (consisting of two mirrored spirals -see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUtr9IWUHSU), can well be milled out with a computer numerical control machine. This is done by removing bulk material from an initial core cylinder.
