GreenTeach Final International Conference successfully held in Burgas

🌱 On 3 September 2026, the Final International Conference of the Erasmus+ project GreenTeach - "Transforming Teaching for a Greener Planet" was successfully held in Burgas, Bulgaria.

🏛️ Burgas Free University, the GreenTeach project coordinator, organised the event, and the Vocational High School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronics - Burgas, a GreenTeach project partner, hosted it.

🤝 The conference brought together VET representatives and educators from Bulgaria, Türkiye, Romania, and Italy to present key project results and share practical examples of integrating sustainability into vocational education.

💡 During the event, VET educators who completed the GreenTeach training presented innovative classroom practices covering topics such as energy efficiency, smart technologies, waste reduction, sustainable tourism, biodiversity and environmentally responsible business models.

🏅 The event concluded with a certificate-awarding ceremony and a visit to the host school's laboratories, marking an inspiring final milestone in the GreenTeach partnership and its shared commitment to greener, more innovative, and sustainable VET. 🌍

🌱 Final International Conference of the GreenTeach Project in Burgas

On 3 September 2026 at 13:00, the Final International Conference of the GreenTeach project - "Transforming Teaching for a Greener Planet" - will take place in Burgas, Bulgaria.

The conference is organised by the Bulgarian project partners - Burgas Free University, the coordinator of the GreenTeach project, and the Vocational School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and Electronics - Burgas.

The event will bring together project partners, VET teachers, education professionals, and representatives of institutions from Bulgaria, Italy, Romania, and Türkiye to present and discuss the main results, achievements, and impact of the international partnership.

A key focus of the conference will be the practical experience of teachers who successfully completed the GreenTeach training programme. Participants will present examples of how sustainability education, GreenComp competences, modern technologies, and innovative pedagogical approaches have been integrated into their teaching practice.

The conference will provide an important opportunity to reflect on the project results, exchange good practices, and highlight effective approaches for embedding sustainability and green competences into vocational education and training.
