This was just taken on my phone. My main objective was to show how the seeds on these plants explode, but then this little guy flew in and stole the show 😍🐝

Unfortunately I was pretty ill after receiving my camera and at one point I lost my voice. HOWEVER, this gave me an extra couple of weeks to have a play with my new camera.

First thoughts summary.... I LOVE the HQ burst shot mode, you can capture some great action shots. The panoramic function is seamless and far superior to any on-board panoramic function I've used before.

And the all important photo's of our old buddy, the moon. Well... it doesn't disappoint however I'm not sure it's all that much better than the moon shots from the SX40. Looking forward to discovering what other gems this camera holds.

It's a mixture of luck, skill and determination to get a well timed shot. I have about 15 other pictures on my camera that didn't work out. I had to know how to frame it (even though it is slightly on the wonk) and what I wanted to achieve and I had to press that shutter at exactly the right time.

Patience is a massive part of photography. There's nothing quite like the achievement of finally getting that shot!
