En Tunisie, d'importants projets de réhabilitation ont été mis en place dans le cadre de la stratégie nationale d'économie d'eau. Le périmètre irrigué Zaafrane II réhabilité en 2005 est une source d'eau importante pour les agriculteurs locaux et il a encouragé les agriculteurs à pratiquer les systèmes d'irrigation sous pression. L'efficacité du réseau est estimée à 95%.
Les étudiants apprennent le taux d'utilisation des ressources en eau allouées au périmètre, l'efficacité du réseau de distribution, le taux d'intensification agricole, le taux de satisfaction en eau des cultures et l'efficacité agronomique
La sonde multi paramètre acheté avec les fonds du programme Erasmus+ est un outil indispensable dans les applications de mesure de l'environnement sur le terrain et des eaux de surface pour mesurer le pH, l'oxydoréduction, la conductivité et l'oxygène dissous (électrochimie)

In Tunisia, important rehabilitation projects have been established within the context of the national strategy for water-saving. The irrigated perimeter Zaafrane II rehabilitated in 2005 is an important source of water for local farmers and it has encouraged farmers to practice the pressurized irrigation systems. The network efficiency is estimated at 95%.
Students are learning rate of use of water resources allocated to the perimeter, distribution network efficiency, rate of water-saving equipment, agricultural intensification rate, crop water satisfaction rate, and agronomic efficiency
The multi-parameter probe purchased with Erasmus + program funds is an indispensable tool for environmental and surface water measurement: pH, oxidation-reduction, conductivity and dissolved oxygen (electrochemistry)

A l'occasion de la Journée Mondiale de l'Eau 2021, les étudiantes du Master GIREAD MAYA de l’Université de Sfax FLSHS sont en visite aux sites de Elkhbeyet, Chott El Fejej et au périmètre irrigué de Zaafrane.
Le principal intérêt du Chott El Fejej est hydrologique, géologique et géomorphologique, à cause des nappes d'eau fossile souterraines qui nourrissent les oasis autour du site.

On the occasion of World Water Day 2021, the students of the GIREAD MAYA Master of the University of Sfax FLSHS are visiting the sites of Elkhbeyet, Chott El Fejej and the irrigated perimeter of Zaafrane.
The main interest of Chott El Fejej is hydrological, geological and geomorphological, because of the underground fossil water tables which nourish the oases around the site.
