๐ฏ๐๐๐๐ ๐ถ๐๐๐๐๐๐!
And welcome to the final quarter of 2026!
We've now fully stepped into autumn and October is probably my favourite month of the year, as the days get cooler, the leaves turn the most gorgeous colours and are crunchy on the ground. And, I'm probably a bit biased with this, because it's my birthday month! ๐
September came and went in a flash and a LOT happened. So much it's quite hard to summarise in this little post, but I'll try.
The month began with spending time with a friend who was visiting from the USA. She's been here many times before and didn't need to do any of the usual sightseeing things, so we hung out and went to our favourite coffee shops and bakeries together.
September felt like a bit of a rollercoaster, mainly because two very opposing things happened - EC London, the language school that I had taught at for the last 16 years, closed quite suddenly which was very sad. And at the same time, I got accepted onto the Masters program I had applied for in August (!) and I started the course earlier this week! ๐
For the next 2 years, I'll be doing a part time master's in Language and Cultural Diversity at King's College London and I'm really excited to be a student again. If you'd asked me at the beginning of the year if I thought I'd be going back to uni again, I would have laughed and said 'no'. But I think the last few months have shown that things can change really quickly. So who knows what the rest of the year has in store for us all! ๐ฅณ
