Roseto Valfortore celebrates the
Madonna dell'Incoronata.
The apparition of the Madonna dell'Incoronata occurred near Foggia in 1100AD and it was the first apparition in the world.
A count was blinded by a light among the olive trees while hunting and it thought that it was a wildfire.
Then came a farmer with two oxen and the dark-skinned Madonna appeared among the branches of a olive tree.

Another beautiful day in Roseto Valfortore

🎭 𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗧𝗢 𝗜𝗡 𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗔

Stelle filanti, coriandoli e maschere sgargianti....ritorna il periodo più amato dai bambini ma anche dagli adulti....ritorna 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗲𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮, l'evento di carnevale del piccolo borgo dei Monti Dauni. Il tema di quest'anno è la ❞𝗦𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮❜ 𝗔𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗲❞. Con punto di partenza presso località Paduli, il corteo di carri allegorici, gruppi e maschere sfileranno per le vie del paese all'insegna dell'allegria e del divertimento.
Il tutto si concluderà con una grande festa in piazza e la premiazione dei tre migliori carri e della maschera più bella.
