From laboratories to the stage.
Our 3-year BA Costume & Fashion students, guided by Maestro Andrea Viotti, designed and created the costumes for “The Mountain Giants – Final Act”, bringing their research, craftsmanship and creative vision into a professional theatre production.
During rehearsals, students had the opportunity to see their creations come to life on stage, working alongside the artistic team and experiencing every step of the costume-making process.
Directed by MatteoTarasco MatteoTarasco as part of “Morire di Poesia”, a project by Compagnia Gabriele Lavia / Effimera Produzioni celebrating the 90th anniversary of Luigi Pirandello’s death, the production explores the enduring dialogue between theatre, imagination and the power of art.
A journey where education meets theatre, and every detail tells a story.

Numero Cromatico at ACM | Publishing is more than print. It’s about ideas, research and new ways of seeing the world.
During a class led by M I L L I M S T U D I O, our BA in Fashion Editor, Styling & Communication students had the opportunity to meet Numero Cromatico, the research centre, publishing house and creative collective behind Nodes — Journal of Art and Neuroscience, the peer-reviewed journal exploring the intersection of art, neuroscience and contemporary culture.
The session offered students valuable insights into today’s publishing landscape, opening a dialogue on independent magazines, editorial thinking, research and interdisciplinary practices.
Opportunities like this encourage students to look beyond the classroom, engage with new ways of thinking and discover how different voices and disciplines shape today’s creative industries.

Our Master in Costume Design students visited the studios of RocchettiParrucche, where they met Luigi Rocchetti for an immersive lesson dedicated to stage make-up and character transformation.
Stepping inside one of Italy’s leading ateliers for wigs, make-up and prosthetics gave students the opportunity to experience first-hand how craftsmanship, technique and creativity come together to bring characters to life for theatre, film and television.
Because costume design is more than creating garments—it’s about shaping identities through every detail.

A costume becomes character through transformation.
As part of the Master in Costume Design, our students took part in a hands-on lesson with Luigi Rocchetti of RocchettiParrucche, a historic company specialised in theatrical wigs, make-up and stage transformation.
An immersive experience that showed how wigs and make-up are essential tools in costume design, shaping identity, narrative and emotion on stage.
Because designing for costume means designing for transformation.

One last dance before the next chapter begins.
A night of movement, laughter, unexpected conversations and the kind of memories that only happen when a creative community comes together.
To celebrate the end of their third year, our students turned the courtyard into a space where every step reflected the journey they’ve shared.
Growing, experimenting, creating and pushing each other further.
Here’s to everything they’ve built so far, and to everything that’s still waiting beyond these doors. 🤍
