What a great day with the team, talking about customer centricity and designing the concept store of the future 🙌🏼

I’ve been teaching at Luiss Business School since 2017.
Last year, I stepped into a new role: contributing to the design of the Master in Global Marketing Management as Scientific Director of the major.
We made one thing clear from the start:
If you want to teach “global”, you can’t stay in one place.
So we built it across three cities, each adding a different lens:
Rome → strategy and managerial foundations
Amsterdam → creativity, sustainability, global mindset
Dubai → innovation and digital transformation
But this wasn’t just about geography.
I spent time speaking with CEOs and marketing directors from multinational companies, asking what they really look for today: people who can navigate complexity, connect cultures, and turn insights into impact, leveraging Big Data and AI.
That’s what we’re trying to build: combining academic rigor, real-world exposure, and cross-cultural collaboration to shape marketers who can anticipate change and lead globally.

Sono stato felice di contribuire al percorso “Hub Forward” di (Cassa Depositi e Prestiti), realizzato insieme a con la prima lezione dedicata al Customer Relationship.
Un’aula ricca di esperienze diverse, con professionisti provenienti dagli Hub territoriali di Milano, Verona, Bologna, Napoli e Palermo: un confronto vero, concreto e mai scontato.
Che gruppo fantastico! Esperienze così ricordano quanto il valore stia nelle persone, prima ancora che negli strumenti.

Un settore straordinario come quello del vino ha ancora un grande margine di evoluzione su temi chiave come marketing, branding e innovazione.
Oggi più che mai, il vino non può limitarsi a essere raccontato: deve essere ripensato, con un approccio più strategico, internazionale e orientato al consumatore.
Questo programma va esattamente in questa direzione: formare talenti pronti non solo a entrare nel settore, ma a farlo evolvere.

L’anno scorso ho avuto il piacere di contribuire come docente, lavorando con studenti estremamente motivati su casi reali e sfide concrete del settore. Quello che mi ha colpito di più è stata la loro capacità di mettere in discussione lo status quo, esattamente ciò di cui questo settore ha bisogno.
