Segni Mossi is a research project born from the meeting between Alessandro Lumare (visual artist) and Simona Lobefaro (choreographer). In our workshops for children, artistic training courses and interactive performances we investigate the relationship between dance and the graphic sign:
dance as different material, projection in the space, emergence of the emotional;
sign as extension

Drawing while flying. Literally. 🪂
The Segni Mossi workshop was born to set the mark free from the paper and movement free from the body. Us, the children, and the urge to go wild beyond dance and drawing. After just a few sessions, we soon found ourselves flying above trails of color.
The hammock video in 2015 got 2 million views, a wave of questions, messages and enthusiasm. And you're still here. 🙏

📣 Here it is. Walls you can draw on. Floors you can roll on. Holes you can stick your arm through. A hammock over a giant sheet of paper. A cube that draws you back. We called it an exhibition. Turns out it was a place to get lost in.
