“Botanical Imprints” a small creative ritual for those who wish to transform nature into art.
The workshop takes place at The Cultural Al Wattar Heritage House, located along the banks of the Tigris River in Shawaka, the historic district of Baghdad. Built in 1917 and belonging to the Baghdadi Al-Wattar family, this space carries a deep cultural heritage that enriches the experience.
During the 2hours workshop, each participant will shape a piece of clay and imprint it with leaves, branches, and flowers, allowing the material to capture their delicate textures. Through a plaster casting process, these impressions will be transformed into a small artwork to keep and take home, framed in wood to enhance its natural form.
An intimate and mindful experience where nature, memory, and craftsmanship come together.

طقس إبداعي بسيط لكل من يحب يحوّل الطبيعة إلى فن.
ستقام الورشة في بيت الوتار التراثي، الواقع على ضفاف نهر دجلة في منطقه الشواكة، من المناطق التاريخية في بغداد. المبنى مشيّد سنة 1917 ويعود لعائلة الوتار البغدادية، ويحمل طابع تراثي يضيف روح خاصة للتجربة.
خلال مدة الورشة (ساعتين)، كل مشارك راح يشكّل قطعة طين ويطبع عليها أوراق وأغصان وزهور، حتى تحتفظ الخامة بتفاصيلها الطبيعية. بعدين، ومن خلال صبّ الجبس، تتحول هاي البصمات إلى عمل فني صغير راح تاخذو وياكم للبيت، داخل إطار خشبي يبرز جماله.
تجربة هادئة وقريبة للقلب، تلتقي بيها الطبيعة ويا الذاكرة والعمل الفني.
