What made the news wasn't just us: 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.
Students of SeedScience teachers build science from scratch using whatever they can find, then put it to the test.

A representative of the Ministry of Education was there to see it in person, a sign that this kind of education deserves a place in the national conversation, not just the classroom.

It's also a reminder of how far this work has come thanks to the partnerships behind it from the schools and teachers who make it happen every day, to the institutions supporting us in bringing hands-on science to more students across Uganda.

We're proud of the work our teachers and students put in to get here, and even more excited about where it goes next!

Behind every trained teacher is a transformed classroom, and behind every inspired student is a future shaped by curiosity and critical thinking.

Abilah keeps teaching exam classes through the break in Tanzania. Denish sends Ugandan students home with science projects. Fitiavana, in Madagascar, assigns research even when school is fully closed. Lydia watches her students in Ghana split between city sports clubs and rural fields.

Four different calendars, four different realities, yet the same underlying pattern: 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽. Behind the scenes, SeedScience works to adapt to each school calendar and each teacher's needs so that every student, in every context, gets the best chance to learn. And somewhere, between scarce resources and the will to make things happen, something else starts to take shape: a network where distant contexts learn from one another.
