Ciao! 👋🇮🇹
Studying abroad becomes even more meaningful when you can speak the language of the place you're calling home.
In Elementary Italian I with Ilaria Bevilacqua, students learn more than vocabulary and grammar—they gain the tools to explore Rome with confidence, connect with local culture, and make the most of their experience in Italy.
Because sometimes the best way to discover a country is to learn how to speak its language ✨

During the second week of the IMACC Global Immersion Program students went to Milan, where they explored two very different perspectives on finance and business.
At Borsa Italiana, they learned how financial markets have evolved from face-to-face trading to today's digital systems. At Cariplo Factory, they discovered how circular economy models are changing the way companies create and report value.
Different settings, one big question: how do we build a more responsible and sustainable future for business?
A huge thank you to our hosts and to our students for bringing curiosity and energy to every experience.

This experience became a way to discover the country slowly and closely—through landscapes, conversations, history, and life on the road.

The first week of the IMACC Global Immersion Program in Rome wrapped up with workshops and company visits that brought accounting and business strategy into the real world.
From innovation and venture capital at Zest, to sustainability reporting at EY, entrepreneurial growth at SQUP, and internationalization at Tenimenti Leone, students explored how global business decisions take shape across different industries.
But they didn’t just observe—they worked, discussed, and connected classroom concepts to real business challenges.
A huge thank you to our hosts, faculty, and students for an inspiring week in Rome 🇮🇹

A rainy day full of discovery 🌧️🌿
Students from the Horticulture program, led by Dr. Curt R. Rom, spent the day exploring two very different but equally fascinating sides of Italy’s landscape culture.
At the Centro Agroalimentare Roma (C.A.R.), students learned how one of the largest agro-food hubs in Central and Southern Italy operates, discovering the systems behind food distribution and agricultural commerce.
In the afternoon, the group visited the stunning gardens of Villa d’Este, where fountains, terraces, and Renaissance landscape design brought horticulture to life in one of Italy’s most iconic historic settings.
Even with the rain, the experience was immersive, inspiring—and we even found a little sunshine at the end ☀️
