"Intervista immaginaria a Woody Allen...

Inside a large hotel. It’s an attic. There is an open space. The door is already open. The reporter arrives in ten minutes early and just trying to pass the time, sits on the couch.
He looks around carefully, the light is everywhere.
Walls, floors, tables and chairs.
Smell of incense in the air.
He looks very cool. He has straight, dark hair above his ears, early 30s.
He is a white male. Average build.

He lights up a cigarette and starts to waiting. Suddenly makes an appearance the Movie Star.
He has a shiny appearance, tousled hair, as whimsically. He says…

MOVIE STAR: “Hello” and it’s on the couch in front of the reporter.
The set is ready for the interview.
It’s finally happening.
The reporter starts the recording and sets down the tape on the table.

REPORTER: How old is he?

MOVIE STAR: I’m eighty one years old.

(laughing without embarrasment)

REPORTER: It looks terrific!

Where is he from exactly?

MOVIE STAR: I come from Brooklyn. I still longing. It’s full of lights and I can still smell that city!

REPORTER: What is his favorite city?

MOVIE STAR: New York is my favorite and I love!

REPORTER: Why?

MOVIE STAR: Because that’s where I find the skyscrapers and revolutionary ideas and George Gershwin’s music, the best on Broadway.

REPORTER: What’s his job?

MOVIE STAR: I’m a film director and I like to put always my movies with music, in particular George Gershwin’s music!

REPORTER: It’s Amazing!
What stings the most?

MOVIE STAR: The closed minded and inexactitude, shallowness.

REPORTER: What’s his sign?

MOVIE STAR: I’m a Sagittarian and I’m short.

REPORTER: Is he an impulsive person?

MOVIE STAR:Yes and I do bring it into my work.
It’s what motivates me.

He needs to take a break and lights a cigarette. He makes a puff of smoke. The reporter him company.

REPORTER: What he prefers to eat?

MOVIE STAR: I love fine food. In general. Here in Italy I love pizza and spaghetti, for example. In America I love peanut butter and oysters…

REPORTER: Does he likes a continental breakfast?

MOVIE STAR: Yes I like very much. In particular I prefer scrambled eggs and bacon, cereals and turkey dogs…

REPORTER: Does he prefers beer or wine?

MOVIE STAR: It depends on the food. If I’m eating fish or meat I prefer wine(red/white), instead if I’m eating a pizza, I prefer beer. Blonde beer.

REPORTER: What is for his life?

MOVIE STAR: I look at life like a chess game and needs to think and to anticipate your opponent’s next moves.

REPORTER: He believes in love?

MOVIE STAR: Yes, I believe in love, also if I am cynical. I like to be ironic and prickly about it.

REPORTER: What does he think of loneliness?

MOVIE STAR: I enjoy the loneliness. Since childhood I’ve faced loneliness and I learnt to support my self.

REPORTER: Does he has any future plans?

MOVIE STAR: I will make movie until the end of my life.

REPORTER: Say, what’s his name?

MOVIE STAR: Oh, my name is Allan Stewart Konisberg. This is my real name.

REPORTER: Why Woody Allen?

WOODY ALLEN: It is my nick name since 1952.
Allen is a memorable name.
Woody is a nice gradient. And you?

REPORTER: Oh, I’m Chris!

Woody Allen looks at the clock and getting him the end of time.
So they look in the eye and the reporter says “Nice to meet you, Woody!”
“Thank you!”

He gets up and look at Woody Allen away!"
