From the beginning of this mysterious string of killings in Italy, patterns appeared that showed a significant relation to the murders that took place in the US, orchestrated by a man named the Zodiac Killer. Breaking the ciphers of the Zodiac revealed that there were multiple individuals that were responsible for the killings in different parts of the country, spanning the entire nation and moving into Canada in the later part of the operations.
Zodiac Ciphers Solved
The murders were used so as to be able to harness the influence of its severity to distract law enforcement from their incoming shipments of illegal drugs from Laos/Cambodia. The Drugs were run through their military bases and were then networked through their Entertainment Industry ties to buyers across a wide platform.
In particular the He**in was given to the masses of people in the streets in order to cause a degree of social degradation, while the Co***ne was distributed throughout their upper echelons. This was due primarily as to the influence that they felt they could impose on a mass of people in city centers in order to create political unrest and poverty under branches of their programs sponsored by the DoD and CIA.
The ringleader was a man known as Lt. Col. Michael Aquino.
In the ciphers of the Zodiac were telltale signs that even ciphers that were claimed to have been broken were used to deliver secondary and tertiary layers of encryption that were sitting in plain sight for decades.
With these initial ciphers broken, they revealed the extents of the planning behind Operations Bayonet, Wrath of God, and Spring of Youth in the US and abroad in Europe, and finally in Palestine.
At the same time, these same operations were geared up in Italy, in order to create a symbiotic affair that saw a number of branches initiated around the same time the first Zodiac Ciphers began to hit the stage in San Francisco.
With this beginning to take hold and massive amounts of Drugs were shipped into both countries, there was a need to find a place to launder the money that they had earned, so as to keep the records of transactions off the books in the US.
This is how they came to partner with the American Archbishop in Chicago, who was responsible for the oversight of the Vatican's finances in Italy. When Pope John Paul I had initiated investigations into this whole affair, while it was still very young, he died while in office after only 33 days.
The suspicions were so high that they scrambled to control the narratives and the media. There was talk for decades about who was responsible for his death, as reporters were sent on a ramble as they suspected he was poisoned, but could not prove their case.
The affair continued to take on new victims with the beginning of the Il Mostro killings, and finished with the abduction of two girls from the Vatican City and Rome. One girl, Emanuela Orlandi, was the daughter of a banker in the Vatican. The other was to be insurance against any investigations coming from the Italian Senate and the Carabiniere.

The ciphers appeared throughout the killings as investigators were led to find direct evidence of an American with a background in the Military, who was in the country to murder couples and friends that were all found to have been killed in similar manners. The type of weapon used was also found to have been used in killings in the US, so they had some evidence but they had no idea what was waiting for them behind the ciphers.
As for the investigations?
There were so many false accusations thrown around that they were made to be a sort of travelling circus that came to town surrounding each killing, and some suspects spent years in prison while the media was on fire carrying the storyline and suspicions of a Government that refused, over and over, to listen to common sense. It took years to follow up on the leads that were produced in the original sightings of the person of interest, seen stalking the victims at a couple of locations.
Two composites were made of the person of interest, and there was also another made to show the person of interest in the abduction of the girl from the Vatican, Emanuella Orlandi.
These all show the same person throughout different times of his life as the person responsible for the killings, seen at different locations, and having left behind evidence that would tie them all to the same killer.
