CASTRO is an alternative learning program and workspace founded to support Italian and foreign artis

Some images from the workshop “Wild Facts” with DOM- (Leonardo Delogu and Valerio Sirna), part of CASTRO Studio Program #09.
Thank you Leonardo and Valerio for having accompanied us over these two days of work together, opening up such a generous space for exchange.
Starting from their long-term research on the relationship between body and territory, DOM- guided participants through somatic exercises, collective reflections, and the sharing of audiovisual materials and notes drawn from their ongoing work, alongside a walk through the outskirts of Rome. The workshop moved across themes such as nomadism and dwelling, landscape and performance, and the porous boundaries between bodies and environments, inviting participants to explore different ways of being present and perceiving.
The workshop took place on 28–29 April 2026.

DOM- (Leonardo Delogu and Valerio Sirna) are among the visiting tutors of the Studio Program #09!
On 28-29 April, DOM- will lead a workshop for CASTRO's Studio Program participants. Titled "Wild Facts", the workshop brings together different research threads developed by the DOMcollective, focusing on the relationship between body and territory, the real and its representation, nomadism and dwelling, while questioning the notions of "landscape performance". The workshop will start with studio-based work, sharing a series of somatic practices connected to the exercise of presence—of being, perceiving, and the emergence of movement. Audiovisual materials, excerpts from notes, and open questions will also be introduced, revolving around some of the company's key works (The Man Who Walks, Porpora Who Walks, The City That Walks), which reflect a long-term research process and an ongoing engagement with the real.
DOM- is a research project that investigates the language of performing arts, contaminating it with the Environmental Humanities' militant approach and the issues and imaginaries of feminist and q***r ecologies. Its practice revolves around the relation between bodies and landscapes, questioning the tangle of permeability, and observing how power, nature and marginality interact in the public space. DOM- builds performances, workshops, walks, gardens, audio-visual projects, dj-sets and parties. Their work has been presented in several national and international festivals, and they have been awarded the Premio Rete Critica as the best artistic project (2019). In the same year the collective became part of Oceano Indiano, the Teatro India – Teatro di Roma's production and artistic residence program.
