So....Who's Gaia? Well, I was born and raised in the land down under, you know where the kangaroos are... ok ok in Australia. A few years back i made the life changing decision to move to Italy. I say life changing because it's thanks to this choice i dicovered my passion for teaching! It pretty much all started when i got my first teaching job in a Language school and after a few years i opened u
p my own English school. Yes i was actually the owner of my own English school!! This was the best and scariest thing i had ever done but it payed off! I learnt so much about myself, my students and offcourse teaching. What has really helped me in the classroom is the emphathy i have for my students. I mean, i understand exactly how they feel, i get the red faces, fozen expressions and lack of motivation. Well because i am a teacher by day stuednt by night and I really struggled when i was learning italian for these exact reasons! After many embarrassing moments i learnt some techniques that helped me improve my confidence, fluency and love of the language. And this is what i aim to give my students. I want to share my knowledge, experience and mistakes in order to help them become confident empowered English speakers. I am a mothertongue english teacher 🙋 from Australia, specialised in teaching intermediate and advanced students from all over the world🌎. I focus on building CONFIDENCE and FLUENCY within my students and help them fall in love 💔with the language! My goals are to help you become CONFIDENT, FLUENT and to use the language to your advantage!
