JOB OPENING: Urgent request for a research assistant.
Master of science student needed to help in data collection for a professor who is doing research on the profitability of wineries. Information will be procured through the administration of a short questionnaire and additional data related to business reputation will also be gathered from winery guidebooks and other sources. The gross salary is about €2.000 (from which about €400 in taxes will be deducted). The work must be done from home and the required time frame is 1 month to 1,5 months starting mid-March 2017. Emmanouil Noikokyris is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance in Kingston Business school. He is in the Department of Accounting, Finance and Informatics, and he is teaching in the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of the school. His principal research interests are in the areas of empirical asset pricing, monetary policy, and international finance and is always willing to consider the supervision of doctoral students with keen interests in such research areas.

Professor Frank Hansen from Institute for Excellence in Higher Education at Department of Economics and Finance
Frank Hansen is a professor of mathematics at Tohoku University, Japan. Frank Hansen obtained his Ph.D (1983) and his Doctor of Science degree (2000) at Copenhagen University, Denmark, and he is the author of 54 scientific publications in peer-reviewed international journals and some books. The field of research is within non-commutative mathematics and mathematical physics with an emphasis on the geometrical properties of operator mappings; with applications in quantum mechanics, quantum statistical mechanics and quantum information theory.
