Non c'è niente da fare: per comprendere le leggi della fisica è necessario osservare. Occorre realizzare esperimenti, dedurre delle leggi, riprovare con lo stesso e con altri esperimenti, cambiando poche cose e riverificando le leggi dedotte. Suggerire ad altri di eseguire gli stessi esperimenti per verificare le leggi in luoghi e tempi diversi. Questo è il metodo scientifico di Galileo Galilei. EERC consente a studenti e docenti di realizzare esperimenti. Con EERC le leggi della fisica non si imparano solo con la teoria e con gli esercizi ma soprattutto con gli esperimenti. Basta prendere il cellulare ed accendere la lampada dell'immaginazione scientifica per iniziare a realizzare esperimenti (osservazioni). Il cellulare è la tua sonda che raccoglie i dati ed il sito www.eerc.it è il tuo strumento di elaborazione e condivisione con i compagni di scuola e i professori. Puoi realizzare Grafici, e vedere i percorsi su Google Map. Non è necessaria l'ennesima userid o password, accedi a eerc.it con le credenziali di google o facebook. How to set up your EERC lab:
a) from your desktop o portable PC:
a.i) using google chrome, visit and register on www.eerc.it
a.ii) fill the form on you and your school
a.iii) identify and note your EERC address; you will use it on your smartphone android
b) from your smartphone android:
b.i) access on www.eerc.it (if the google accout of smartphone is the same of the one registered via desktop you do not need to register again)
b.ii) download eerc app
b.iii) open EERC app, open settings, flag auto upload and write your EERC address obtained (ref. a.iii)
Now your EERC lab is ready to work to achieve your first experiment of physics: the pendulum. How to perform your first experiment of physics: the pendulum
a) connect the battery charger or headphone or stick a twine on the back cover of the smartphone;
b) open EERC app, go to settings and set "Recording Interval" at 500 msec or 200 msec;
c) press red button on top right of the screen (a pop up will appear, the app will start recording, and you can check it seeing the EERC icon on the top left on the screen);
d) allow smartphone to swing keeping it from the twine;
e) wait for 10 sec;
f) take back the smartphone and press again the red button (another pop up will appear and the icon on top left will disappear: now the recording phase is stopped);
g) using your desktop, visit eerc.it and you will see your recorded data;
h) you can optionally add a Title and Note to the data recorded (write in the boxes and press "U" or ENTER to update);
i) press "N" for new report and you will land in the "report page", you can press "MAP" to see where you gate the data (if GPS was able to work properly). Or you can press "GRAPHIC" to select the parameters you want to graph. Simply wait for few seconds and you will see the graphs. Enjoy it. For any problem do not hesitate to contact EERC staff. How to choose the time interval of the graphs:
The graphs of the variables are drawn starting from all data recorded. Most of the cases, the data recorded includes extra samples of the experiment and you want to remove them. You can focus your interest on the time interval you want. You have only to set START and STOP limits. To set START time you have to move the mouse over the lower line of the graph: it will appear a text "set START to ....". Click on left button of the mouse and the graph will be generated starting from that time. To set STOP time you have to move the mouse over the higher line of the graph: it will appear "set STOP to ....". Click on left button of the mouse and the graph will be generated stopping to that time. Note that all graphs will be tuned in the same time interval you selected. Also Map will be focused on the same interval. (*) EERC doesn't need your Google or Facebook password because the authentication is guaranteed by Google or Facebook themselfs. You can get awareness of it, paying attention on the fact that, when you have to write the password, you are in a Google or in a page.
