🎓 Educational excellence & international cooperation at the Institut International Saint-Dominique de Rome

The leadership of the Institut International Saint-Dominique was delighted to welcome Mehdi Lazar, Inspector and newly appointed Pedagogical Director of Operations at Odyssey Education, and Mathilde Pousse, Deputy Counsellor for Cultural Cooperation and Action, representing the French diplomatic and cultural network in Italy.

🤝 These visits provided valuable opportunities for dialogue, professional development and cooperation, bringing together the ISD leadership, teachers, parents and students.

With Mehdi Lazar, discussions focused on educational practices and learning needs, the presentation of Odyssey’s new MOOC dedicated to online teacher training, mathematics training, digital resources and self-grading tools, as well as pedagogical approaches designed to strengthen teachers’ skills and continuously enhance the quality of education.

Together with Mathilde Pousse and the ISD leadership, discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between Odyssey Education, the Institut International Saint-Dominique and the French diplomatic and cultural network in Italy, while exploring opportunities for future educational and cultural initiatives.

🌍✨ A proud moment for our entire school community!

We are delighted to share that our school has been awarded Level 3-Expert of the EFE3D Sustainable Development Label.

This achievement is the result of a collective effort and celebrates the commitment of our students, teachers, staff and parents to building a more sustainable future.

As we close another wonderful school year, we celebrate not only our students’ achievements but also the values they have embraced along the way.
🌿 Journey into Nature was much more than an end-of-year show. It was an invitation to reconnect with the world around us and with one another.

✨ Our Kindergarten and Grade 1 students enchanted us with The Little Prince, reminding us that “what is essential is invisible to the eye.”

🕊️ Our Grades 2 and 3 brought to life The Legend of the Hummingbird (Colibri), showing that every small action can make a difference.

🌊🌳 Our Grades 4 and 5 took us on a journey to the beach and the forest, celebrating the beauty, wonder, and fragility of the natural world.

Through music, theatre, dance, and storytelling, our students invited us to look beyond academics and reflect on our shared responsibility to care for nature and for each other.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated teachers, staff, families, and, above all, our incredible students for making this journey so meaningful.

Last Thursday, the Institut International Saint-Dominique proudly celebrated the graduation of our IB Diploma Programme Class of 2026.

More than a ceremony, this special evening marked the end of an extraordinary journey filled with perseverance, growth, friendships, challenges overcome, and unforgettable memories. Over the past two years, our students have demonstrated resilience, curiosity, open-mindedness, and a true commitment to excellence.

Coming from different cultures and backgrounds, they have grown together into a community of globally minded young adults, ready to take their next steps with confidence and ambition.

We warmly congratulate all our graduates and thank our teachers, families, and the entire IB team for their dedication and support throughout this journey.
