Di fronte a possibili avvenimenti sconvolgenti che vediamo accadere è facile sentirsi annichiliti ed destabilizzati😳
Ci rendiamo conto che tenere le cose sotto controllo è solo un illusione, un palliativo alle nostre angosce più profonde😱
La paura di morire si trasforma in paura di vivere😥
È proprio in quei momenti di caos che bisogna concentrarsi su quello che invece È in nostro potere per riacquistare un equilibrio.
Se lasciamo che la mente sprofondi in pensieri negativi non faremo altro che rinforzare uno stato di allerta fisiologico in assenza di minacce reali avvelenando la nostra quotidianità🥺
Impariamo a mettere confini ai continui stimoli a cui siamo sottoposti dai media e dai social che alimentano questi pensieri e ci fanno travolgere da emozioni soverchianti✋🏻

🇮🇪«Homo sum, humani nihil a me alienum puto». (Terenzio, II A.C.) «Sono uomo, niente di ciò ch’è umano ritengo estraneo a me».
Mindhunter è una serie che racconta la storia vera di due agenti dell'FBI che, contro ogni ostacolo ideologico del tempo,
erano convinti di poter trovare una logica al perpetrarsi di crimini particolarmente efferati al fine di rintracciare più velocemente i colpevoli.
All'epoca persino l' F.B.I. riteneva che fosse solo l'opera di MOSTRI perversi e trovare un senso alle loro azioni era oltremodo oltraggioso.
Significava renderli più UMANI e quindi più vicini a noi, se non addirittura giustificarli.
Insomma comprendere il loro modus operandi e le loro motivazioni significava dare attenuanti ad azioni che dovevano restare l'insensata opera di una bestia malvagia.
Le interviste registrate in prigione agli autori di questi crimini orrendi ha portato alla scoperta dell'esistenza della categoria dei serial killer ed a tutta l'attività di profiling che ci ha permesso di indagare il lato oscuro della mente umana.
Mi piace anche pensare che questo ci abbia insegnato ad essere più aperti e tolleranti verso quello che non comprendiamo.
Il MOSTRO è soltanto qualcuno che si mostra e realizza impulsi spesso conseguenza di circostanze traumatiche di cui la maggior parte di noi non ha mai avuto esperienza o che riuscito ad elaborare, gestire, oppure semplicemente mantenere NASCOSTE.

Mindhunter is a series that talk about the true story of two F.B.I. agents that, against all time ideological odds, were convinced to find a logic into the more terrible crimes of the time in order to individuate those responsible faster.
At that time even the F.B.I. believed that they were the work of perverse monsters and so looking for a sense in their actions was unacceptable.
It meant to make them more human and so closer to US if not even to justify them.
Therefore their modus operandi and their motivations was seen as a way to give excuses to actions that should remain the foolish work of an evil beast.
The interviews taped in jail to the perpetrators of these tremendous crimes brought us to the discover the category of serial killers and the profiling activity that allows us to investigate the dark side of human mind.
I like to think what happened taught us to be more open minded and tolerant to what we don't understand.
Monsters are just persons who shows us and carry out impulses often originated by traumatic circumstances that the majority of us has never experienced or was able to elaborate, or simply kept hidden.

🇨🇮Se insegnassimo a tutti i giovani di qualsiasi sesso e religione poesie come quelle di un poeta Libanese di fine 1800 potremmo contribuire a costruire un futuro di pace ed una vita più significativa.
Ma insegnare è solo l'inizio bisogna ESSERE noi stessi coerenti con quello che professiamo.
Molti giovani che incontro quando chiedo loro cosa vogliano dalla fare nella vita mi rispondono:" FARE MOLTI SOLDI". Questo è il motivo per cui dovremmo tutti riflettere sui messaggi che diamo ai ragazzi con il nostro esempio.

🇬🇧If we teach to young people of any s*x and religion poems like the ones of this Lebanese poet of the late 1800's, we will contribute to build a future of PEACE and a much more MEANINGFUL LIFE. But it is only the beginning, we must BE ourselves consistent with we say.
When I asked to the boys and girls that I meet what the want to do in life they say:" MAKE A LOT OF MONEY".
This is the reason why we all have to think about which messages we send to young people with the example we give them.

🇮🇹Sono passati tanti anni da quando ho incominciato ad occuparmi in prima linea di violenza sulle donne ed ero inorridita e sbalordita dell'ampiezza del fenomeno.
Anni in cui se parlavi di FEMMINICIDIO ti guardavano come se fossi una una squilibrata mitomane. I numeri erano più o meno simili ma con un sommerso gigantesco e difficile da stimare. Continuo a pensare che non sia un problema che può essere affrontato solo dalle donne ma da TUTTI per quello che è UNA GRAVISSIMA VIOLAZIONE DEI DIRITTI UMANI legata ad una cultura maschilista in cui siamo TUTTI, al di là dei generi, ancora immersi che fa tantissima fatica a tramontare. Se fossi nata uomo sarebbe stato imprescindibile per me prendere apertamente le DISTANZE e COMBATTERE questo modello di MASCOLINITÀ TOSSICA legata al PREGIUDIZIO ed alla SOPRAFFAZIONE.
🇬🇧Many years has passed since I started to be involved in violence against women at the forefront. I was horrified and stunned by the scale of the phenomenon.
Years in which if you were talking about FEMICIDE people were looking at you as you were a mythomaniac disturbed girl. The numbers of the victims were similar but with an enomous part undeclared.
I keep on thinking that it can't be a problem faced by women only but by everybody. It is a SERIOUS VIOLATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS linked to a male-dominated culture where we are all still immersed and that has difficulties to set. If I had been born a man It would have been essential to me distance myself openly and combat this toxic masculinity pattern linked to prejudice and oppression.

🇮🇹La FELICITÀ è riuscire ad essere pienamente quello che si È e non quello che si vorrebbe ESSERE.
Una Persona VERA e non quello che la nostra mente dice che dovremmo essere per accettarci ed essere accettati.
Questo vuol dire avere le proprie meschinità ed impulsi distruttivi eppure continuare a credere di meritare ugualmente RISPETTO ed AMORE.
Trovare SENSO e BELLEZZA nella nostra storia che ha fatto di noi quello che siamo ORA e realizzare quello che potremmo diventare al netto delle difese che abbiamo eretto nel tentativo illusorio di proteggerci dalla PAURA e dal DOLORE.
Sospendere il GIUDIZIO ed OSARE per proseguire la nostra CRESCITA personale che è fatta di curiosità, meraviglia e soprattutto di errori.
🇬🇧Happiness is to be able to be what we ARE openly and not what we would like to BE. A REAL person and not what our mind tells us we should be in order to be accepted by ourselves and by others.
This means to have our own meanness and destructive impulses and nevertheless still believe to deserve LOVE and RESPECT.
To find MEANING and BEAUTY in our story that has made us what we are NOW and to achieve what we could become lowing the defenses erected in an illusory attempt to protect us from FEAR and PAIN.
Suspend JUDGEMENT and DARE in order to develop our PERSONAL GROWTH that is made of curiosity, wonder and above all mistakes.

🇮🇹Se vogliamo una vita appagante e dinamica,
ogni giorno è l'occasione per CRESCERE, CONFRONTARSI, APPRENDERE QUALCOSA, RINNOVARSI.
Quando limitiamo la nostra naturale tendenza alla SOCIALITÀ ,
al GIOCO, alla SCOPERTA, alla CREATIVITÀ,
perdiamo gli stimoli fondamentali che sono alla base della nostra evoluzione come persone e del PIACERE DI VIVERE.
Sono la fonte dell'energia positiva che ci permette di dare
un altro colore alla monotonia ed il grigiume di tante giornate
che spesso scorrono una uguale all'altra impoverendo la nostra esistenza. Ci sentiamo intrappolati in una routine che non corrisponde più ai bisogni di quello che siamo oggi.
Una ruota in cui continuiamo a girare perché abbiamo troppa paura di scendere.

When we limit our natural tendency to SOCIALITY, to PLAY, to DISCOVERY, to CREATIVITY, we lose the fundamental stimuli that are the basis of our evolution and pleasure of living. They are the source of the positive energy that allow us to give a different color to the monotony and greyness of many days that often pass one equal to another impoverishing our life.
We feel trapped in a routine that doesn't correspond anymore to the needs of who we are now.
We keep on spin in a wheel we are too afraid to get off.
