“From Soil to Surface: The living Skin of Architecture”

In a landscape where soil becomes matter and matter becomes surface, we invite you to slow down and join a five-day and six-night immersive journey into the art of earth-based wall decoration with

This course is a unique hands-on experience dedicated to the creation of textured, tactile surfaces using foraged clay, stone and natural fibres.

We will learn how to recognise and collect clay from the land, prepare it, and transform it into workable mixtures with different grain sizes, colours, fibres.

Participants will work with the spatula and handmade tools to apply earth plasters on panels, creating textures, patterns, and sculptural relief surfaces through gesture, pressure, impression, engraving, and raised drawing. Each participant will develop a personal surface language, working on samples that leave space for interpretation and creative freedom.

The panels created during the course can become decorative artworks, design elements, or the starting point for future projects in wall decoration or bio-architecture.

With shared meals, a family atmosphere, and time dedicated to rest and connection, you will be part of a small community of makers.

This journey is guided by architect and artist , who transformed her love for clay and natural materials into a life practice showing how passion can turn what we study into a true vocation.

“From botanical inks and dyes to the fading art of woodblock printing”

In the heart of the Venetian countryside, surrounded by rivers, wild herbs, and medicinal fields, we invite you to slow down and join a 6-days, 7-nights creative journey guided by and .

This immersive course is an invitation to reconnect with ancestral knowledge through the rhythms of nature and the land. We will begin by extracting color from local plants, creating a personal journal that gathers the delicate hues of each species. Step by step, we’ll explore the processes of scouring, mordanting, and dyeing, and move into the creation of handmade inks for painting and textile printing.

You will carve your own woodblocks to design original patterns, practicing traditional printmaking techniques that are slowly disappearing. We’ll also work with local clay to create a mud-resist print, honoring a technique rooted in the earth and passed down through time.

Over the course of the week, your hands will move through soil, pigment, fruits, leaves, and branches, guided by nature’s quiet pace. This is more than a workshop, it’s a transformative experience, one that nourishes your creativity, senses, and presence.

With homemade food, a welcoming atmosphere, and time set aside for rest, connection, and inner listening, we will take care of you as if you were part of our family. Whether you come from near or far, you’ll find space to breathe, reconnect, and create - with the land, with others, and above all, with yourself.
