Dear friends and colleagues,
my colleague Prof. Tom Rankin and I have been working over the last few years on a series of documentary videos exploring nine unique Roman neighborhoods (Quartieri): San Lorenzo, Testaccio, San Saba, Ostiense, Pigneto, Garbatella, Tuscolano, EUR, and Esquilino.
Each urban exploration is structured as a biking tour.
We just published them on YouTube, and we think they’d be a fantastic resource for you and your students to discover these neighborhoods on their own—either by bike or on foot!
