False friends aren’t those fake friends I’m talking about but a word borrowed from your mother language and you might use the word in a new language but the word actually has another meaning in the language you’re learning. Share any examples of a word you may have used and it came out funny? A Spanish false friend is abogado, which is not avocado, but lawyer in English.
Let’s make speaking, listening, reading and writing easier ensemble, insieme, together! So you can really 'get' the meaning and upgrade yourself. Interested, write me! ****Link in bio English Language Training with Alies

Enjoy the benefit of Speaking in a focused group way in my next Course. NOTE Say and tell are irregular verbs. The past simple of say is said, the past simple of tell is told: He asked if I was looking for new client acquisition, and I said yes. Then he told me how he had found a client in Alies' networking course session.
**Use - say and tell in different ways in reported speech. Say focuses on the words someone said and tell focuses more on the content or message of what someone said: ‘Hello,’ she said. X Not: ‘Hello,’ she told. vs. She told him she was going to register for Alies' course. (The focus is on the information.)
**We use say with direct speech. We don’t use tell in this way: He said, ‘I am investing in Alies' course.’
Enjoy the benefit of Speaking in a limited focused group way. Curious? My Mini course starts on February 17th. Sign up, a few spots still available. Speak up and boost business English now.
