Sometimes the hardest part of surviving something life-changing…
is figuring out who you are afterward.
When I was diagnosed with cancer at 48, everything stopped.
Not just my health.
My identity.
My sense of control.
My vision for what came next.
Like many high-achieving women, I had spent decades building a career, leading teams, pushing forward.
But survivorship brings a different kind of question:
Now who am I?
Over the past few years, I’ve spoken with dozens of women navigating this same moment.
Brilliant leaders.
Accomplished professionals.
Women who fought for their lives.
And yet, when treatment ends, the world expects them to simply return to who they were before.
But something fundamental has changed.
The truth is, survivorship is not about going back.
It’s about owning what comes next.
Tomorrow I’ll share something very personal that has been quietly growing behind the scenes.
05/02/2026
In 2021, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Like many high-achieving women, after treatment I wanted to jump back into my business and role as leader and coach. But something had shifted. I realized my identity and values needed to be intentionally redefined.
Now, as part of my capstone research for my MS in Executive Coaching and Consulting at NYU School of Professional Studies, I’m looking to connect with women leaders who are breast cancer survivors.
This research explores how women navigate leadership, identity, and career reintegration after treatment and survivorship. The insights will directly inform future coaching, programs, and support designed specifically for women returning to their careers after treatment.
I’m inviting a small group of women to participate in a 20-minute confidential conversation. No preparation required. Just your lived experience.
If you:
• Identify as a leader or senior professional
• Are a breast cancer survivor
• Are open to a short, thoughtful conversation
I would be honored to learn from you.
Please comment below or send me a DM.
And if you know someone who may want to contribute, feel free to share or tag them.
Thank you for helping advance work rooted in lived experience, strength, and truth.

Do you need an attitude adjustment?
Your attitude has a powerful impact on how you approach your day because it shapes your behavior, decisions, and even the energy you bring to others.
Taking a moment to pause and reflect can completely shift your perspective.
I remember a time when I felt overwhelmed juggling back-to-back commitments. Midday, I realized my frustration impacted my focus and interactions. I paused and asked myself, How is my current attitude shaping my behavior?
The answer was eye-opening. I wasn’t showing up as my best self, and that realization helped me reset my mindset and finish the day stronger.
Here’s a simple way to try it: midway through your day, ask yourself this question and see what shows up!
If your attitude isn’t serving you, take a breath, refocus, and choose a new one.
That small reset can lead to big changes in how you show up.

The fastest way to kill your success?
Chasing every shiny object.
I’ve seen it happen to leaders, entrepreneurs — even myself.
A new idea pops up.
A new “shortcut” promises faster results.
Before you know it, focus is scattered and progress stalls.
But here’s the truth:
Distraction is the real enemy.
The leaders who win?
They don’t have more talent.
They don’t have more time.
They simply commit — and stay the course.
Your path is uniquely yours.
Stay laser-focused. Trust the journey.
The results will come.
👉 How do you protect your focus when distractions show up?

You’re already showing up as a leader.
But are you being remembered for what matters most?
I learned this the hard way.
Years ago, I was leading hundreds of people for a global brand. My days were packed with meetings, deadlines, and decisions. I was delivering results — big ones.
But one day it hit me: people remembered the targets I hit… not the leader I was becoming.
That’s when I realized something:
Your leadership brand isn’t just what you do.
It’s the energy you bring into every room.
It’s the values you model without saying a word.
It’s the clarity you offer when others feel stuck.
As a first-generation immigrant, former retail executive, and breast cancer survivor, I’ve had to rebuild and redefine my own leadership identity more than once.
And now, in my coaching work, I help leaders do the same — before burnout, politics, or change does it for them.
Because how you lead is how you’ll be remembered.
So, here’s my question for you:
If people described your leadership in one sentence today, would it reflect who you really are?

At the top, speed is celebrated.
Quick wins.
Fast pivots.
Immediate answers.
But here’s the truth no one tells you: the higher you go, the slower you need to think.
I’ve worked with leaders managing billion-dollar portfolios and teams of hundreds. The ones who thrive long-term aren’t the ones who sprint the fastest. They’re the ones who create space to think, question, and anticipate.
Strategic leadership isn’t about how quickly you can respond.
It’s about whether your response moves the business — and the people in it — forward.
So if your calendar is packed edge-to-edge, your to-do list is endless, and you can’t remember your last uninterrupted hour… It’s not a productivity badge. It’s a warning sign.
Slow down to lead better.
What’s one decision you’re rushing right now that would benefit from breathing room?

You’ve been the one everyone depends on.
The fixer. The doer. The go-to problem solver.
But lately?
The weight is starting to show.
You’re running from meeting to meeting with no time to think.
You’re solving everyone else’s problems, but not moving your own priorities forward.
You’re wondering if you can keep this pace without burning out.
You’ve mastered getting things done.
Now, the next level of leadership is calling.
And here’s the secret:
It’s not asking you to do more.
It’s asking you to think differently.
High-level leadership isn’t about:
Checking boxes
Managing every detail
Saying yes to everything
It’s about:
Building vision that inspires action
Shaping culture that drives results
Leading with clarity, calm, and confidence
That’s where I come in.
I help high-achievers make the shift from performer to visionary — without sacrificing their energy, their presence, or their sanity.
Together, we create the space, strategy, and mindset you need to lead at your highest level.
And now, for the first time, you can explore exactly how I do this inside my brand new website 🎉

Because the shift from performer to visionary?
It’s closer than you think.

Your discipline got you far.
Your excellence got you noticed.
Your hustle got you promoted.
But now?
The stakes are higher. The visibility is greater. The impact is broader.
At this stage, your next level doesn’t demand more hours or more hustle.
It demands a shift in how you lead.
Shift from operator to architect — designing the strategy instead of carrying the weight alone.
Shift from reacting to anticipating — making proactive moves that shape the future.
Shift from proving yourself to amplifying your presence — influencing across every room you enter.
This is the leap senior leaders must make to move from successful to transformational.
Because your company doesn’t just need you to deliver results.
They need you to shape the vision, scale the culture, and lead in a way that others can follow.
Which shift will you make first?

You don’t always leap — sometimes, you outgrow.
That quiet restlessness? It’s a signal.
Maybe your role once lit you up — now it drains you.
Maybe your values have evolved — but your work hasn’t kept pace.
Maybe you’ve hit the “success” mark — and still feel unfulfilled.
These aren’t breakdown moments; they’re breakthrough moments.
I share more in a recent Forbes Coaches Council article:
“How To Tell It’s Time For A Career Pivot: 15 Signs And Next Steps.”
I dive into one key sign I see often in high-achieving executives — and what to do when it shows up.
If you’re questioning what’s next, this could offer the clarity you need.

Let’s be clear: Being successful and being sustained are not the same thing.
Many of my clients are high-performers.
They lead teams.
They close deals.
They drive results that make headlines.
But under the surface?
They’re exhausted.
Disconnected from themselves.
Wondering how long they can keep up the pace.
That’s where the shift happens.
High performance is powerful.
Sustainable high performance is transformative.
It’s not about pushing harder.
It’s about aligning deeper — with your vision, your values, and your energy.
Because leadership isn’t just about what you achieve.
It’s about how you sustain yourself while achieving it.
So here’s the question:
What would change if you stopped managing your time… and started managing your energy?
27/08/2025
Many high-achievers secretly believe:
“If I don’t do it myself, it won’t get done right.”
So they over-function.
Over-commit.
Over-carry.
But doing it all isn’t leadership.
It’s control.
And control comes at a cost:
•Your energy
•Your trust
•Your team’s growth
Real leadership is built on trust:
•Trust in your people to deliver.
•Trust in your systems to support.
•Trust in yourself to step back so others can step up.
Here’s how to start that shift:
1. Delegate with clarity — set expectations, then let go.
2. Focus on outcomes — not every detail.
3. Coach, don’t rescue — let your team own their wins and their lessons.
When you trade control for trust, you don’t lose quality.
You gain capacity, loyalty, and results that scale.
Where could you let go this week to help someone else rise?
