CLIA course, October 14-16, 2024. Dr. Stephen Cribari, a law professor and poet, will give three lectures on a series of Italian-American jurists and their influence on American criminal law. He will also address the impact of some well-known Italian Americans on the current presidential election in the USA.

It has been a great pleasure to be in Perth for two weeks, upon invitation by the University of Western Australia, for a series of events, lectures, and seminars in Italian and Italian Diaspora Studies.
I was especially pleased and honoured to participate in the event "The Global Italian Diaspora in Australia and Beyond" at the University of Western Australia on August 8, along with Deputy Premier Rita Saffioti, the Consul of Italy Federico Nicolaci, and Professor Loretta Baldassar.
I am deeply grateful to the Italian Studies team at the University of Western Australia, whose warm welcome and enthusiasm made my visit to Perth truly memorable. I also extend my thanks to the Italian Comites, the Dante Alighieri, the Italo-Australian Welfare & Cultural Centre, the Italian Club of Perth, and the Italian Club of Fremantle for their hospitality. Lastly, I appreciate the support of the Consulate of Italy and Edith Cowan University.

Il 10 maggio si terrà il primo Laboratorio di scrittura creativa della Biblioteca di area umanistica (BAU) dell'Unical, rivolto studenti e studentesse dell'ateneo. Si svolgerà una volta al mese e vedrà la partecipazioni di scrittrici e scrittori, oltre che di docenti. Il primo lo terrò io.
