🎤 Meet Gabriel Krouk
Prof. Gabriel Krouk is Research Director at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) in Montpellier, France.
His interdisciplinary research combines molecular plant physiology, computational biology, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. His pioneering work on nutrient signalling has advanced our understanding of how plants respond to nitrogen and phosphorus availability.
His work has examined the links between nutrient sensing and hormonal signalling in plants, including award-winning research on the nitrate transceptor NRT1.1/CHL1. More recently, his research has expanded to nitrogen-phosphorus signalling interactions, in silico simulation of biological processes, machine learning, and generative AI approaches for molecular design in plant physiology. He is also co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of BionomeeX.
