Vallunga di Piea d'Asti Sempre caro mi fu quest'ermo colle... ...e mi sovvien l'eterno, e le morte stagioni, e la presente e viva, e il suon di lei.

Così tra questa immensità s'annega il pensier mio: e il naufragar m'è dolce in questo mare Stretched on three hills (Sciapabosc = breaking the forest, Il Sant = the Holy and Pescamenni), Vallunga is a small village in the council of Piea D’Asti in the Monferrato Region in the north west of Italy. The name Vallunga means long valley but actually to many people it is not really clear were that valley is…. There is only an asphalt way going to the village, behind it is just wood. From the top of the village you can see the Mon Vis and the western section of the Alps. Vallunga perhaps has nothing different from many other villages in the region, except for those that love it, those that were born there, and those that children or teenagers spent here a lot of time during the school holidays and may be those that even adults they came for the first time and liked it because is special and that's it
