Learning does not necessarily mean sitting in a classroom. A forest, a meadow, or a natural environment are not simply alternatives to traditional learning spaces โ they can become places where people experiment, exchange ideas, and develop new skills.

Through educational programmes and adult training activities, SILVIVA emphasises direct experience and the pedagogical potential of natural environments, demonstrating how the surrounding context can actively contribute to the construction of knowledge.
This is precisely the perspective that the PLASE project aims to explore: understanding how learning spaces and local environments can help make education and lifelong learning more experiential, participatory, and meaningful.
