What an incredible boost to creativity it is to have the opportunity to work with talented and motivated singers, as I did this past week in Perugia. If I am lucky enough to have the skills to teach something to the singers who come to work with me, imagine my luck in always also learning so much from each one of them! A wealth of musical, life- and singing skills were on display last week, and I have left Perugia refreshed and inspired. Watch this space for upcoming dates for you to bring your skills to this open "learning space" we have established for singers at Casa Monteripido. I look forward to welcoming new voices in 2025!

We'll be back in Perugia at Casa Monteripido for private lessons 1-9 September. Many thanks to the Friars for once again welcoming our group, and to Oro et Ristoro for spoiling us with their wonderful catering. This year we will focus on repertoire choices appropriate to what our voices can do, rather than choosing pieces which may be part of the standard repertory but may not match our skills. Italian diction skills (as well as German and English) will be highlighted. Body Work for Singers an added bonus.
