Today marks yet another first day for the middle school.

While it is already the 26th new beginning we are setting for different levels of education, it is still the very first day of middle school for the 1st graders; the first day of 2nd grade for the others; and the last first day of middle school for the 3rd grade middle schoolers.

It is the very first day at LaFlag for some of them and it is more than the 8th first day with us for some others.

But one thing they all have in common is that all of them are starting on their very own first adventure of a kind.

And that’s what makes this day equally exciting for everyone, worth experiencing together ✨📚

Once again, our new school year began with our teachers.

This time, with a training on ‘Litigare bene,’ a method for managing conflict rather than avoiding it.

It connects naturally with something we’ve practiced at La Flag for over twenty years: the Pensatoio. Not a place to be punished, but a space where any child, by their own choice or sent by a teacher, can reflect, speak, and be heard without judgment.

Because we never stop growing, and neither should the way we support our kids 📚🧑‍🏫

As the new school year draws closer, our halls are slowly filling with noise and preparation again, waiting for the real protagonists to walk back in.

First weeks of September, we’re ready for you! ✨
