🇮🇹 Una settimana di YouSustain in Kenya 🌍
Si conclude la prima settimana del nostro exchange in Kenya: giorni di incontri, confronto, ascolto e costruzione collettiva.
Attraverso i Future Creating Workshops, abbiamo lavorato insieme per immaginare futuri più sostenibili e inclusivi, partendo dalle esperienze, dalle conoscenze e dalle prospettive diverse che ciascuno porta con sé.
Ma immaginare il futuro significa anche interrogare il presente: chiedersi chi produce conoscenza, quali voci vengono riconosciute e quali prospettive rimangono ai margini. È proprio da qui che parte YouSustain: dal tentativo di mettere in discussione le eredità coloniali nella produzione della conoscenza e creare spazi in cui prospettive africane ed europee possano incontrarsi su basi più paritarie.
Una prima settimana fatta soprattutto di persone, domande e nuove prospettive. E siamo solo all’inizio. 🌱

🇬🇧 One week of YouSustain in Kenya 🌍
Our first week of the YouSustain exchange in Kenya has come to an end — a week of encounters, dialogue, listening and collective learning.
Through our Future Creating Workshops, we have been working together to imagine more sustainable and inclusive futures, starting from the different experiences, forms of knowledge and perspectives that each participant brings to the conversation.
But imagining the future also means questioning the present: asking who produces knowledge, whose voices are recognised, and which perspectives are still pushed to the margins. This is at the heart of YouSustain: challenging colonial legacies in knowledge production and creating spaces where African and European perspectives can meet on more equal terms.
A first week made above all of people, questions and new perspectives. And we are only getting started. 🌱
