The EUF Council of Rectors met this week in Budapest, hosted by Eötvös Loránd University International. Key strategic issues were discussed, such as the opportunies presented by the continued growth of the network, the challenges of making Erasmus truly for all, new digitalisation activities and the impact of national policies that directly and negatively affect international mobility.

In parallel, the meeting of the EUF Coordinators also took place, providing an opportunity for strategic dialogue between participants on the societal value of student mobility and important implementation issues pertaining to more and better student mobility in Europe.

We were delighted to have Bruno de Oliveira Alves, Team Leader of Higher Education Unit at European Commission, join the event online to discuss how stakeholders can advance the European higher education agenda. He also highlighted how EUF, as a university network, has and continues to play a major role in this regard, contributing to the advancment of the European shared goals and shared ambitions.

The fascinating debate encouraged us all to reflect further on the priority themes and the role the EUF network should play in the future of the Erasmus programme and internationalisation across Europe.

🎉International Welcome Day 2024 📚. 22nd February 10.00 – 13.00 📌. Complesso dei Santi San Marcellino e Festo. . The Erasmus+ and International Mobility Office, in collaboration with the Rector’s Delegate for Erasmus projects Prof. Valeria Costantino, will organize a welcome day for all international mobility students arriving at our University on February 22nd, where international students who will spend their second semester at Federico II University will releve all necessary information to face the first phases of insertion into the new university and city context.

Concorso LAISSEZ PASSER della Generazione Erasmus, scadenza 5 Novembre! 🥳

Dear student,
Are you looking for an opportunity to kickstart a project you are thinking about but
have no means to develop? Does your project aim to help your community, develop
something useful or tackle a problem that is bothering you for years?
garagErasmus Foundation has just launched the 2023 edition of the project LaissezPasser for the Erasmus Generation and this might be exactly what you are looking
for.
The Laissez-Passer is a contest where participants who are currently or have been in
a mobility experience submit projects that are to take place in Europe and beyond.
The winner is awarded with a grant of €3000,00 allowing them to kickstart their
project.
The 2023 edition will award the best project pertaining to the theme of social
innovation, that is initiatives and activities aiming to address social challenges and
improve the well-being of communities through the development and
implementation of new ideas.
The contest is open to everyone, under conditions that they have had at least 2
months of mobility experience behind them.
