One thing I never realized I would miss so much after moving to the U.S. is the tritarifiuti (garbage disposal)!
In Italy, they’re not very common, but after getting used to having one, it’s hard to imagine a kitchen without it. No food scraps sitting in the sink, less mess, and cleaning up after cooking is so much easier.
