Do you ever notice how some programs tell you that their program is easy if you just follow their advice exactly, (bonus points if they tell you you don’t have to exercise to get their results). You’ve tried cutting out carbs, you’ve tried eliminating dairy, you’ve tried gluten free, juice cleanses and counting every calorie that you eat. But it didn’t work. Or, maybe it worked, but then the weight, plus some, gradually came back on. And that’s the sticky part, it all came back, and the thought of cutting out your favorite foods and following more meal plans makes you cringe.
You keep asking yourself:
Is it even possible
You’re asking: will anything actually ever work?
I know this feeling, I’ve been there. For several years after my injury, my weight creeped up, and up, and up. I felt like it didn’t matter what I did, that there was no way to lose weight in my disabled body. I’m in pain everyday. How could I exercise, too? Aren’t I supposed to rest if everything hurts? (Check with your healthcare team to know whether or not its ok for you.).
The weird thing? The more hopeless I felt about controlling my weight, the less I tried to eat well. It’s like I gave up on my health. That’s when my weight really started going up. I quit trying to be healthy at all. My blood pressure went up and up, just like my weight. I was already disabled, and I knew if I kept gaining weight like this, I was going to end up with additional health problems to deal with later.
You’re here because you want results. You want to feel better in your clothes. You want to finally get control over the food noise and feel good in the body you’ve got.
You’re tired of trying diets over and over again. You’re ready to see results that are actually going to stay.
You’re ready to finally find an exercise program that works for you.
