๐ฃ Check out! The edited book "Labour Migration in the European Union: Current Challenges and Ways Forward", edited by Giulia Ciliberto and Fulvio Maria Palombino (CNR Edizioni, 2023) is available online!
๐ The edited book is one of the dissemination activities of the EULab Summer School on Labour Migration in the European Union. It gathers contributions authored by qualified scholars and practictiones in different fields, in accordance with the multi-disciplinary approach of the EULab Summer School.
Notably, the volume gathers the chapters authored by Flavia Rolando, Marguerite Arnoux Bellavitis, Vittorio Cama, Bui Thi Ngoc Lan and Hnag Thuy Tran, Christina Binder, Francesca Tammone, Matteo Borzaga and Michele M., Carlo Caldarini and Grazia Moffa, Pilar Luz Rodrigues, PhD and Hazel OโBrien and Tom Boland, Lucia Orsini, and Nadia Matarazzo.

โ A few days ago, the second week of the third edition of the EULab Summer School came to an end and the EULab Final Conference took place at the Universitร degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.
The conference hosted the presentations of scholars from different reasearch fields, notably international law, EU law, sociology and economics. We would like to thank, once again, the speakers and those who attended the conference in person and online.
The conference marked the end of the Jean Monnet Module funding the EULab Summet School on Labour Migration in the European Union. In the next few weeks, a collected volume gathering some of the presentations will be published by CNR Edizioni.

During this week, the EULab Final Conference on Labour Migration in the European Union (6-7 June) will take place as well. The Conference will be held online (MS Teams) and in person, at the Law Department of the Universitร degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.

โ The first week of the third edition of the EULab Summer School just came to an end.
Participants had the opportunity to attend seminars by high-qulified scholars and practitioners, to be involved in workshops and group activities, and to explore the "womb of Napoli" during the Migrantour Napoli CASBA Soc. Coop. Sociale.
We are ready to start again tomorrow morning with more lectures and workshops, and to end the week with the EULab Final Conference.

โ The week has started with the 2023 Young Scholars Workshop and the Opening Keynote Lecture of President Guido Raimondi!
After an entire day of intense work, we enjoyed a wonderful happy hour at Hotel Naples.
Today we will attend three seminars and the presentation of the topics of the parallel workshops.

This morining is devoted to the 2023 Young Scholars Workshop. Participants will present their insights on the topic "Vulnerability of Migrants" and the fixed staff of EULab will deliver a workshop on career developments and soft skills.
In the afternoon, President Guido Raimondi will deliver his keynote lecture.

๐ Giovanni Zarra is Professor of International Law at the University of Napoli Federico II, where he also holds the chair of Private International Law and International Litigation and where he obtained is PhD in International law and . He is currently a Senior Associate at the Hogan Lovells law firm and has been designated to the Panels of Arbitrators by the Government of San Marino.

๐ฃ We are thrilled to announce another guest lecturer: Dr. Nadia Matarazzo!
๐ผ Nadia Matarazzo is Research Fellow and Lecturer in Economic Geography at the Department of Economics of the University of Naples Federico II. She holds a PhD in Geography. She has worked on of border areas, urban geography of , and economic and demographic frameworks of Italyโs inland areas, topics on which she has published a book and several articles in scientific journals.
โ Her most recent research is dedicated to the study of the in lagging areas: in particular, she has investigated the relationship between the spread of -19 and the suburbs.
๐ฃ Dr. Nadia Matarazzo will deliver a lecture on migrations, perceptions and segregations in the regions of Southern Italy.
