The X-VET project is now featured on EPALE. The article presents how X-VET is supporting VET institutions, educators and learners in facing the green, digital and economic transitions through practical tools, learning resources and sustainability-oriented methodologies. A specific focus is dedicated to the Integrated Sustainability Workbook, one of the main results currently being developed by the partnership. The Workbook will help VET institutions integrate sustainability into governance, curricula, teaching practices and cooperation with the labour market.

The X-VET partners successfully met in Riga for the second Transnational Project Meeting — TPM2. 🇱🇻
The meeting was an important opportunity to review the work carried out so far, discuss the next project steps and finalise the remaining contributions needed for the development of the Integrated Sustainability Workbook.
During the Riga meeting, partners also started the work on WP3, which focuses on the development of the X-VET Integrated Sustainability MOOC. This online course will offer structured learning pathways for VET institutions, educators and learners, supporting the development of green, digital and sustainability competences.
TPM2 in Riga strengthened cooperation among partners and supported the common goal of X-VET: helping VET institutions develop the skills, tools and strategies needed to face the green, digital and economic transitions.

Il 22 giugno 2026 si è svolto online un nuovo meeting del partenariato X-VET, progetto Erasmus+ dedicato all’integrazione della sostenibilità nei sistemi di istruzione e formazione professionale. Durante l’incontro i partner hanno fatto il punto sull’organizzazione del prossimo Transnational Project Meeting che si terrà a Riga, verificando l’agenda, le attività ancora da completare e lo stato di avanzamento dei diversi contributi. 🇱🇻
Una parte importante del confronto è stata dedicata al lavoro sul WP2 e alla finalizzazione dell’Integrated Sustainability Workbook, uno degli strumenti centrali del progetto. I partner hanno inoltre verificato le aree di competenza sviluppate, tra cui trasformazione sostenibile, strumenti digitali e di intelligenza artificiale per l’educazione alla sostenibilità, collaborazione con il mondo del lavoro, gestione delle risorse e capacità di anticipare le sfide future.💻📗

È stato anche condiviso un aggiornamento sullo sviluppo del sito web di progetto, che diventerà uno spazio importante per valorizzare risultati, materiali e attività realizzate dal partenariato. Il meeting ha confermato ancora una volta l’importanza della cooperazione europea: comunicazione positiva, responsabilità condivisa e lavoro comune sono elementi essenziali per portare avanti un progetto ambizioso come X-VET.

Prossima tappa: Riga, per continuare insieme il lavoro sui risultati del progetto.✈️🚄

🌱 Testing the Green Transition Toolkit with workers

in the GreenCraftUp project we just completed the testing phase of our Green Transition Toolkit through practical, workplace-based activities designed to make sustainability easier to understand and apply. During the testing phase, workers explored simple but important questions:

How can we reduce waste in daily work?
Which materials can be reused, repaired or recycled?
How can circular economy become part of ordinary professional routines?
What is the difference between environmental, social and economic impact?

The activities were based on real examples from manufacturing, construction, plumbing and woodworking. This helped participants connect the green transition with their own jobs, tools, materials and daily decisions.

Our goal is clear: to make sustainability training practical, concrete and accessible, especially for workers who may not be familiar with technical or academic language. 👷‍♀️👷

The green transition starts from small, understandable actions at work.

📍 Tomar, Portugal | 19–20 May 2026

The second Transnational Project Meeting of the Erasmus+ T-TalentTech project took place in Tomar, Portugal, bringing together partners from across Europe to review progress and align on the next phase of the project.

During the meeting, the consortium laid the foundations for the work that will be carried out in the coming months under WP3 – T-Shape Skill Set and Management Modelling.

WP3 represents a key stage of the project, focusing on the development of a common European framework for ICT skills and talent management. The work will include:
🔹 Defining T-shaped skills profiles for ICT professionals
🔹 Aligning European competence frameworks and occupational profiles
🔹 Developing a Talent Management Model to support companies in attracting, developing and retaining digital talent
🔹 Validating the model through collaboration with experts and stakeholders across partner countries
