Students often ask me which is the "best" English pronunciation, and sooner or later the conversation always turns to the Queen's English. Better known as Received Pronunciation it is defined in the Concise Oxford English Dictionary as "the standard accent of English as spoken in the south of England". In reality less than 3% of the British population are in fact R.P. speakers, with regional English varieties being much more common. Something I am personally happy about as R.P is frequently the accent of those with power and money, and all too often those with undeserved privilege.

Ma perché sbagliamo sempre la parola TAKE? Magari così é più facile. Meglio usare GET: una parola per ogni situazione.
