BEYOND B2
“Our employees already have B2 English. Why would we need this?”
It’s a fair question.
But B2 tells you what employees can do under familiar, controlled conditions.
It doesn’t always tell you what happens when they have to:
• follow several people speaking at once
• understand different accents and communication styles
• respond without rehearsing
• interrupt, clarify, disagree and negotiate
• remain confident when the conversation takes an unexpected turn
That is the English people need in real life: in international meetings, presentations, business lunches and conversations with clients and colleagues.
This is why I created my blended English classes.
Learners interact with two or three teachers from different countries—with different accents, personalities, perspectives and ways of expressing themselves.
It doesn’t simply feel like another English lesson.
It feels like a real international situation.
And that small amount of positive pressure changes everything: learners become more attentive, more flexible and far more confident when communicating outside the classroom.
B2 is an excellent foundation.
But the real question is:
Can your employees use that B2 naturally, confidently and effectively when the conversation is no longer predictable?
You won’t fully understand how different this approach is until you experience it.
I’m inviting all professionals to observe or try a blended session and see the difference for themselves.
Curious? Send me a private message with the words “BEYOND B2”, and I’ll share the details.

THIS IS NOT HYPOTHETICAL.
THIS IS TUESDAY .
You're at a business dinner.
The person on your left is British.
The one on your right is American.
The client across the table is Indian.
They're all speaking English.
They all sound completely different.
And suddenly, the English you've been studying
feels very far away.
This is not a hypothetical.
This is Tuesday.
Do traditional classes prepare you for real conversations ?
Real life, real people.
I've built a different kind of training.
In my sessions, your don't just learn English : you practice it for real — live — with multiple teachers, multiple accents, multiple communication styles.
Different voices. Unexpected questions. Real pressure.
Exactly like the meeting. Exactly like the dinner.
The result?
Less freezing. More confidence. Better retention.
Because when the real moment comes,
you've already been there.
You won't know until you try.
So let's try.
One session. No slides. No textbook. Real conversation.

A Milano we say:
"la Dany"
"il Paolo"
"la Ferragni"

In English?

Absolute. Deal. Breaker. 🚫

In English we never put THE in front of:

👤 names → just Danila. Just Paolo.
🌍 countries & cities → Italy, not THE Italy
📚 languages → English, not THE English
🍳 meals → breakfast, not THE breakfast
⚽ sports → football, not THE football
🏢 companies → Chanel, not THE Chanel

BUT get specific — and THE is back, no negotiation:

✅ The Danila who taught me English changed my life.
✅ The breakfast at that hotel in Milan? Unforgettable.

One tiny word.
Endless confusion.

10 MINUTES OF ENGLISH A DAY
Why are you learning English?
Think about it for a second.

Not the polished answer. The real one.
"My company requires it."

"I need it for my CV."

"My parents think I should."
Or is it something else?
"I want to feel confident in a meeting."

"I want to travel and actually connect with people."

"I want to stop feeling like a different version of myself when I switch language."
Here's what the research says — and this is not opinion, this is decades of work in educational psychology:
Why you learn something predicts how well you learn it.
Deci and Ryan's Self-Determination Theory — one of the most cited frameworks in the field — found consistently that learners driven by internal reasons show better outcomes, less anxiety, and more sustainable progress.
External pressure gets you started.

Internal motivation keeps you going.
And there's more.
Studies specifically on language learning found that intrinsic motivation correlates directly with speaking proficiency. Not grammar scores. Not test results. Speaking — the thing most people actually want.
So before you sign up for another course, buy another app, or download another grammar book —
Ask yourself the real question.
Not "do I need English?"
But "what do I actually want it for?"
Because the answer changes everything.

The method. The pace. The commitment. The result.
Your motivation is not a detail.

It's the whole thing.
Follow for more of this.

Dos and Don’ts

10 MINUTES OF ENGLISH A DAY

"Here I am!"

"I'm here."

Same words. Same grammar.

One of them sounds odd in certain situations.

Can you tell which one — and why?

Here's the situation:

🚪 You've been waiting for your friend for 20 minutes. The door finally opens. They walk in, smiling.

They say: "Here I am!"

Perfect. Natural. Almost theatrical — like a small announcement of arrival.

Ta-da. I made it.

Now your friend is late. You text them:

📱 Where are you?

They reply: "Here I am."

It sounds... off. Doesn't it?

Wouldn't "I'm here." sound better ?

Why?

Because "Here I am!" announces arrival — it's performative, it needs an audience, it needs a moment.

"I'm here" simply states location. No drama. No entrance. Just information.

Same words. Completely different jobs.

Follow for more.

10 MINUTES OF ENGLISH A DAY

"I DON'T KNOW"

How often do we say this?
Is it wrong?
Nope. Perfectly correct.
Also... only three words.
Don't we tend to use these 3 words for absolutely everything?
But isn't there a different way? Different words we could use instead?
Of course!

Not completely sure?
➡️ I'm not sure.
➡️ I'm not certain.

Completely lost?
➡️ I have no idea.
➡️ I have no clue.

Nobody knows?
➡️ Who knows?
➡️ Your guess is as good as mine.

Very informal?
➡️ Beats me.

Totally confused?
➡️ I haven't got the faintest idea.

Missing the information?
➡️ I couldn't tell you.
(Notice: this doesn't mean I'm not allowed to tell you. It means I simply don't know.)

Same meaning? Not quite.
Same general idea? Yes.
But each expression carries its own tone, level of formality, attitude, and nuance.
And isn't that exactly what we want when we communicate?
So don't just say "I don't know." Try one of these instead.
