A hundred languages ✨

In our Early Years classrooms children are encouraged to communicate through endless forms of expression which the Reggio Emilia Approach describes as the “100 languages of children.”

Through clay they become storytellers. They shape ideas, feelings, memories and discoveries into something tangible, learning that there is more than one way to express themselves and make sense of the world around them 🌍

As an international school with a dual learning pathway, GIS Monza supports Italian students in meeting the requirements of both an international education and the Italian national curriculum 📚

Our MYP1 students have been preparing for the Prove INVALSI, strengthening the literacy and numeracy skills assessed through the national standardized tests.
These sessions help students become familiar with the format while reinforcing key competencies in a supportive classroom environment.

By integrating the Italian curriculum alongside the IB framework, we ensure that students can thrive in both educational systems without compromising the benefits of an international, inquiry-based education.

Caring for our garden 🌱

Our Early Years 3 students work together to look after their garden, making sure their plants receive the care and attention they need. Especially during the heatwave!

It is very important for students to understand the importance of nurturing nature and understanding how even small actions can make a big difference 🪴

Coding and robotics 🤖

In MYP1 students developed computational thinking skills by learning how to design and program through hands-on challenges.
As they build and test their projects, they learn that coding is not just about technology, it’s also about logical thinking, creativity and perseverance.

Through robotics and coding, technology really does become a tool for innovation and future-ready learning 🚀
