English Fun under the Italian Sun is an opportunity to make the most of one of Italy's most enchanting villages, its historic surroundings and all it has to offer. are, Soviore (www.soviore.it) is a perfect place to take a break from the busy life in the city and will serve as the centre from which all the amazing activities will take place. The event will also have a base at La Costa (www.lacosta5terre.it), an ancient house just 5 minutes walk from Soviore. The event will be run over 4 days and 3 nights and will be that break from normality you've been looking for...and will show you there is a much better and fun way to learn English. English film evenings on a projector with dinner under the stars
A sun-kissed day on the sea going to magic waterfalls and secret coves
Still life painting on the hills above Monterosso after a morning's treasure hunt
Star gazing and astronomy ...and much more. We have ample spaces in both Soviore and La Costa. Please see the websites for further information. The cost of the event will very much depend on the numbers we have. We have a base cost of €320 which is for a minimum of 10 guests and prices will decrease depending on the final number of guests fully signed up to our first week of the event. The final cost will include absolutely everything we will need*. Breakfast, dinner and bed will be provided by Soviore who have converted their unique building into spaces fit for a great holiday. Each room is available as either a two single or 1 double bed bedroom (dependent on your needs) and 3 of these rooms are connected and share a bathroom. Breakfast and dinner are also provided by Soviore and their dining room and open dining space in front of the church and open space will always be available although be ready to have dinner at a secret open-air movie theatre space set up with a stupendous backdrop. Lunch will be had during our events and as such will make up part of the day's fun - for example at our Arts and Craft day event - painting or drawing the countryside - will be reached through a treasure hunt where the treasures will be the picnic you'll eat during the event. Every morning we will have our daily lesson in the special, open air classrooms where we will all regroup, talk about the grammar and subjects that will be necessary for the day ahead and discuss what we have done the days before. The class will only last at most 2 hours so don't worry...fun is the key! We have also had a high level of interest in running a weekend course instead of the week course. This is totally understandable when considering the working week and the responsibilities involved. As such we are also proposing a weekend camp that will run from Friday evening and will finish on Sunday evening. We plan to incorporate just as much fun but, obviously, the course will be for 3 days and 2 nights - reducing the total amount of time we have together but also the cost. Please note that, like the week-time event, the final cost, per head, will be relative to the total number of interested parties.
