Our students from the Retail & Visual Merchandising Workshop immersed themselves in the fascinating universe of Bonaveri, the iconic Italian brand celebrated for its refined mannequins. During an exclusive visit to the Milan showroom, they discovered the artistry, craftsmanship, and innovation that bring these distinctive creations to life.

The visit offered a unique perspective on how the right mannequin can transform visual merchandising, enrich fashion storytelling, and strengthen styling concepts.

From Belgrade to Milan, Ana Simsic has built a design journey rooted in sensitivity, balance, and a refined understanding of space.

After completing her Master in Interior & Living Design at Domus Academy, Ana developed a multidisciplinary approach that blends aesthetics with functionality—translating everyday environments into carefully curated experiences.

Today, through her Milan-based practice, she works across residential and workspace projects, where attention to proportion, materials, and light defines each intervention. Her work reflects a thoughtful process where every detail contributes to a cohesive and timeless narrative: spaces designed not only to be seen, but truly lived.

She stated:
"This period at Domus Academy strongly influenced my decision to stay in Milan, focus on my career, and build my personal and professional life here."

Lab Experience at Visionnaire Cosmetics Lab.
Master students from the Digital Communication workshop took part in an immersive learning experience dedicated to the beauty industry, exploring cosmetic products, categories, and production processes.

The session opened with an introduction to make-up, skincare, and fragrances, with a special focus on ingredients and make-up production. This was followed by Diana’s masterclass on the creation of a face cream.

The experience concluded with a hands-on workshop where each student worked at their own station, using a dedicated ingredient kit to personalize a lip gloss.

An engaging opportunity to connect product knowledge, creativity, and communication skills through a practical, industry-focused experience.

Students from the Master in Urban Vision & Architectural Design presented their final projects in Ivrea, concluding the workshop developed in collaboration with the Olivetti Historical Archives Association.

The projects, based on an in-depth exploration of Olivetti’s archival collection, proposed architectural strategies to preserve and reinterpret its cultural heritage, translating research into spatial and urban design proposals.

The presentation, held in Ivrea and shared with the Mayor of the city, represented an important moment of dialogue between academic work and institutional context — highlighting the role of design as a tool to connect heritage, community, and future development.

We are proud to share that "Body in Fabric", a project by our student Li Tao (2-Year Master of Arts in Fashion: Design, Art & Technology) has been selected for exhibition at Packaging Première 2026 as part of Folded Realities: The Art Gallery that Redefines the Dialogue Between Art and Design.

Body in Fabric explores the relationship between the human body and fabric through soft, abstract sculptural forms. Wrapped entirely in cloth, the body loses its identity and becomes a surface shaped by folds, tension, and volume.

The work reflects on the dual nature of fabric, both protective and restrictive, concealing the body while revealing its presence through pressure, movement, and weight. Through three chromatic states (white, red, and black) the project evokes atmospheres of calmness, tension, and silence, existing in a liminal space between fashion, sculpture, and digital construction.
