We are looking forward to publishing our new Piano syllabus on Thursday 9 July!

During the last two years we’ve carried out a complete review of the syllabus to ensure it meets the needs of teachers and learners. As a result, we’ve made some important changes:

👉 A new Initial Grade for Piano
👉 New scales requirements and supporting resources
👉 A one-year overlap period, with the 2019 & 2020 syllabus valid until 31 December (all three pieces and the scales requirements must be prepared from the same syllabus)
👉 More choice and variety of repertoire (30 pieces per grade)
👉 Duets from Initial Grade to Grade 3

We hope you are inspired by what the syllabus offers, and we will continue to work on solutions to delivering the exams themselves at the earliest opportunity.
