🐾 Wear It Wild Day – June 5th 🐾

Today our school came together to celebrate the wild beauty of our planet 💚

Students arrived dressed as their favourite animals, in nature-inspired colours, and with creative “wild” accessories — bringing so much energy and imagination to the day 🐼✨

Beyond the fun, it was also a moment to reflect on why protecting our planet and its wildlife matters. Through simple activities and conversations, we explored biodiversity and our role in protecting endangered species and their habitats 🌱 🌎

Oggi la nostra scuola si è riunita per celebrare la bellezza selvaggia del nostro pianeta 💚

Gli studenti sono arrivati vestiti come i loro animali preferiti, con colori ispirati alla natura e creativi accessori “wild” — portando tantissima energia e fantasia alla giornata 🐼✨

Oltre al divertimento, è stato anche un momento per riflettere sull’importanza di proteggere il nostro pianeta e la sua fauna selvatica. Attraverso semplici attività e conversazioni, abbiamo esplorato la biodiversità e il nostro ruolo nella tutela delle specie in via di estinzione e dei loro habitat 🌱🌍

🌍🏅 BES at Global Olympics 2026 🏅🌍

On 28-29 May, more than 180 students from 24 schools and 7 countries came together at for the Globeducate Global Olympics 2026 for a celebration of sport, teamwork, and global citizenship.

Our three students took part in every activity, including athletics, football, lacrosse, archery, pickleball, orienteering, uni-hockey and table tennis 💪

Highlights:
• Nina D’Acunti: football
• Edoardo Mazzoletti: high jump
• Andrea Pedretti: high jump + track events

Andrea Pedretti has also delivered an outstanding performance, winning all track events in his category 🥇

We are incredibly proud to announce that BES achieved an outstanding 2nd place overall in this international competition 🥈🔥

Proud of our students who represented our school with outstanding commitment, energy, and sportsmanship.

🌍🏅 BES ai Global Olympics 2026 🏅🌍

Il 28-29 maggio, più di 180 studenti provenienti da 24 scuole e 7 paesi si sono riuniti presso per i Globeducate Global Olympics 2026, una celebrazione dello sport, del lavoro di squadra e della cittadinanza globale.

I nostri tre studenti hanno partecipato a tutte le attività, tra cui atletica, calcio, lacrosse, tiro con l’arco, pickleball, orienteering, uni-hockey e tennis da tavolo 💪

Highlights:
• Nina D’Acunti: calcio ⚽
• Edoardo Mazzoletti: salto in alto 🏅
• Andrea Pedretti: salto in alto + gare di atletica

Andrea Pedretti ha inoltre ottenuto una prestazione eccezionale, vincendo tutte le gare di atletica nella sua categoria 🥇

Siamo incredibilmente orgogliosi di annunciare che il BES ha conquistato uno straordinario 2° posto assoluto in questa competizione internazionale 🥈🔥

Orgogliosi dei nostri studenti che hanno rappresentato la scuola con impegno, energia e grande spirito sportivo.

Last night, our Primary School students and teachers brought to the stage something far beyond a musical performance 🌍✨

Through music, dance, and powerful, emotional performances, they reminded us how deeply our world, nature, and animals are affected by human actions — but also how hope, awareness, and kindness can still heal what has been broken 💚

We are immensely proud of all our students for the passion, courage, and heart they brought to the stage 👏

A truly special thank you goes to Marinella for the enormous amount of work and dedication behind this incredible production, from beginning to end.

A big thank you to our fantastic music teacher, Grant Easdon, for his guidance, lessons, music, and constant support throughout the entire journey.

Heartfelt thanks to our incredible teachers Celeste Mariotti, Alice Cappiello, Valentina Selvetti, Cecilia Rovello, Denise Di Fazio, Ma**ca Pace, who created the script and all the acting parts, and Anna Sara Fierro with her dance, for their wonderful support and involvement in the show.

Through storytelling, nature exploration, and hands-on learning, our young students discovered the fascinating world of pollinating insects — from butterflies to bees and bumblebees — while learning about the relationship between humans and the environment🌿✨

🌼🐝 Una splendida giornata di scoperta per le nostre classi Reception a Villa Lonati!

Attraverso racconti, esplorazione della natura e attività pratiche, i bambini hanno scoperto l’affascinante mondo degli insetti impollinatori — farfalle, api e bombi — imparando il legame tra l’uomo e l’ambiente. 🌿✨

Alla BES crediamo fortemente che le uscite didattiche e le esperienze reali abbiano un ruolo fondamentale in ogni fase del percorso educativo, dai primi anni fino alla scuola superiore.

Sono occasioni preziose per stimolare curiosità, autonomia, fiducia e creare un legame più profondo tra ciò che si impara in classe e il mondo reale.

Esperienze come questa aiutano i più piccoli a sviluppare rispetto per la natura, fiducia nell’esplorazione e amore per l’apprendimento.

A special congratulations and thank you to our Drama teacher, Francesca Fornara, and to all the teachers involved for their passion, guidance, and dedication in making this production such a memorable experience for our school community 💙

As part of STEAM Week 2026, celebrated across all schools from 4–8 May 🌍, our Art lessons focused on creativity, sustainability, and hands-on learning with Y4 & Y5 students.

🎨 “Tactile Goals”: UN SDGs transformed into tactile artworks using recycled materials
🪑 “Animalier Chairs”: animal-inspired chair designs made from sustainable materials

♻️ Throughout the week, students discovered how art can go beyond expression — becoming a powerful tool to communicate ideas, raise awareness, and inspire more responsible ways of thinking and creating, connecting imagination with real-world impact.

Nell’ambito della STEAM Week 2026, celebrata dal 4 all’8 maggio in tutte le scuole Globeducate 🌍, nelle lezioni di Arte abbiamo lavorato con gli studenti Y4 & Y5 su creatività, sostenibilità e apprendimento pratico.

🎨 “Obiettivi Tattili”: gli SDGs ONU trasformati in opere tattili con materiali riciclati
🪑 “Sedie Animalier”: sedie ispirate agli animali realizzate con materiali sostenibili
