Here, during the school’s traditional Year 12 induction the students are living the values of collaboration and creativity by working collectively to solve tricky problems - and have some fun.

Our GCSE and IB Art & Design students travelled to Venice to experience the Venice Art Biennale, encountering bold ideas, diverse perspectives and contemporary artistic practices from around the world.

From gallery spaces to unexpected installations, every moment offered something to question, interpret and inspire.

Our refurbished music rooms have welcomed students back for the new school year, providing fantastic spaces for creativity, collaboration and curiosity. All week our Primary School pupils have been telling us their views:

This week, Thomas, a recent BSM graduate and a former BSM Orchestra and Jazz Band member, returned to school to share the world of the double bass with our students.

As one of the many instruments available through our thriving music programme, the double bass brings richness to orchestras, chamber groups and solo performances alike.

We hope this inspiring session encourages more students to give it a try!

Collaboration and curiosity in action.

The move from Primary to Senior School is a big step and as part of their Year 7 induction programme, students have been taking part in activities designed to help them get to know one another, build confidence and explore their new Senior School environment. A great start to the year.

Today, our School comes alive once again as students, staff and families return for the start of the School year.
