How do Rhinoceros and CLO3D interact in the process of a bag?
The answer lies in Arsutoria School’s new Bags and hardware 3D design engineering class, a program designed around the workflow of the Digital Bag Designer.
The course combines two tools increasingly requested by the industry: and . Students learn how these software can work together to create a bag’s digital twin, integrating 3D modeling, component design and virtual prototyping.

3D printing, digital workflows, generative AI applied to footwear design, and how to prepare the next generation of talent for a rapidly evolving industry were among the key topics discussed at Stride Europe 2026.
Matteo Pasca, Director of Arsutoria School, moderated two panels that explored the future of the industry: "Is Europe Ready for the Digital Renaissance?" and "The Digital Education Dilemma: How to Upskill the Next Generation of Talent"

For years, we have been exploring opportunities to build internal expertise in flat-knit technology for shoe uppers.
This journey has been supported significantly by our partner Pierpaolo Sgattoni from Sneaknit, who generously made a diverse variety of shoe uppers available to our students.
Building on our vision to foster dedicated internal support and education for textile uppers, we invested in a state of the art Stoll flat knitting machine at the end of 2025.
We were able to launch a specialized internal training initiative in 2026 made possible through a government-funded project sponsored by the Regione Lombardia. Going forward we have started a training path with Athens Knit Lab the consulting studio for technical textiles founded by Vasilios Fasois and Marianna Fasoi after his return from working on knitted footwear in the United States.
Our colleague Francesca Ratti has just completed her first two intensive weeks of training, and the results are already remarkable. Our next milestone is set for the first of October, when Vasilios will travel to Italy to lead the second phase of training for our faculty.
Stay tuned for more updates as this project develops... 🚀
