Every great collection starts long before the first cut of fabric.

Students began by studying Giuliano Fujiwara’s archive in depth - analysing his patterns, proportions, and construction techniques to fully understand the brand’s language.
After the research phase comes paper pattern-making, the technical blueprint that translates every idea into a wearable form. It’s here that proportions, volumes, and construction details are defined, laying the foundation of every garment that will come to life.

There’s something different about the Academy when the students are away🥲

The hallways seem quieter: there are no students walking through them, no one creating, drawing, or crafting in the workshops, no one eating together in the cafeteria or gossiping in the courtyard. The days seem to pass a little more slowly, and every space seems to be missing something.

Because an Academy isn’t just made up of classrooms, labs, and projects: it’s made up of the people who bring it to life.

A new chapter in our collaboration with Giuliano Fujiwara.
Following last year’s exhibition dedicated to the Italian-Japanese designer, Accademia del Lusso students have reimagined the brand’s identity through a series of editorial photoshoots and a contemporary collection that will be presented at Milan Fashion Week this September.
Launched in 2004, the Brand Project is an educational initiative that empowers students to redefine the identity, strategy, and management of three heritage fashion brands: No Limits, Giuliano Fujiwara and Romeo Gigli.
