One technology fades. Another quietly changes the rules.
During the Executive MBA's latest guest session, Lorenzo Cappannari, Founder & CEO of Another Reality, invited participants to look beyond the headlines and explore what is really shaping the next phase of technological transformation.
From artificial intelligence and robotics to spatial computing and immersive technologies, the conversation challenged some of today's most common assumptions. Not every technological hype becomes a revolution. But the technologies that survive the hype cycle often redefine how people learn, collaborate, make decisions and create value.
For today's executives, understanding these shifts is becoming a leadership capability in itself.
The session concluded with a hands-on virtual reality experience, giving participants the opportunity to step inside the technologies they had just discussed and experience first-hand how immersive environments can transform learning, training and human interaction.
At SDA Bocconi, we believe management education should not simply explain the future. It should allow leaders to experience it before they are asked to lead it.

When purpose meets practice, knowledge becomes impact.
During their visit to Eataly Milano, students from the Master in Sustainability Management discovered how the program's pillars - from Corporate Sustainability to Sustainable Strategies, from Energy Transition to Sustainable Finance - come together in practice.
Whether discussing supply chain transparency, ESG reporting, decarbonization pathways, stakeholder engagement or sustainable value creation, the experience highlighted one key takeaway: sustainability leadership requires an integrated set of skills.
A valuable opportunity to connect classroom knowledge with the complexity of implementing sustainability strategies in one of Italy's leading food retailers.

Management is shaped by perspective. That is why every year our Executive MBA students spend a week at the University of San Diego, immersing themselves in an international learning experience focused on the evolution of the service economy.
The Service Week combines academic sessions, company visits and conversations with industry leaders to explore how organizations create value through customer relationships, experience design, digital transformation and artificial intelligence.
Exposure to different business contexts, industries and managerial approaches helps students strengthen the judgment and adaptability required to lead in an increasingly interconnected world.
The Executive MBA journey grows through every experience, every conversation and every new perspective.

How do leaders make decisions when uncertainty becomes the norm?
Geopolitical fragmentation, shifting economic balances, technological disruption, and growing social complexity are no longer distant trends. They are redefining the context in which organizations operate and leaders make decisions every day.
This is precisely why the Global Leaders Program was created.
Not to predict the future, but to provide senior executives with the opportunity to step back from day-to-day responsibilities, interpret complexity, challenge their assumptions, exchange perspectives, and develop new ways of reading a rapidly changing world.
The program brings together executives from across the globe to discuss today's most pressing geopolitical and economic challenges, connect them to their organizational implications, and strengthen the strategic perspective needed to lead through uncertainty.
Today, this mission is more relevant than ever.
The third edition of the Global Leaders Program has recently brought together distinguished faculty, international experts, and a diverse community of peers to explore the forces shaping our world and the strategies that will drive the organizations of tomorrow.
The conversations may have come to an end, but the questions, reflections and perspectives they generated will continue to shape the way leaders navigate an increasingly uncertain future.

▪ Alessandro Franzosi, Chief Financial Officer, Gruppo Mondadori
▪ Matteo Ramenghi, Managing Director & Chief Investment Officer, UBS Wealth Management Italia
▪ Cinzia Tagliabue, Chief Executive Officer, Amundi SGR

Another stop on the EMBA Made in Italy Week journey.
This time, students explored the future of the fashion and luxury industry with Luca Sburlati, CEO of Pattern, President of Confindustria Moda and Alumnus of the very first Executive MBA cohort.
Starting from a global picture of the industry, he shared why the strength of Made in Italy lies in its ecosystem: a network of companies, skills and craftsmanship that creates value by working together.
From the shift of luxury towards experiences to the potential of technical textiles, he showed how the future of Made in Italy will be shaped by companies capable of combining craftsmanship, technology and talent, bringing together, as he put it, "hands, head and technology."
And he left students with a final thought about the transformational power of the EMBA path: "You're already changing, even if you don't realize it. Follow what you truly love."
Thank you, Luca, for bringing your experience, vision and entrepreneurial journey back to the EMBA classroom.

Twenty years ago, EMMS was built on a simple idea: marketing and sales create the greatest value when they work together. Twenty years later, that conversation continues.
To celebrate this milestone, alumni, faculty and industry leaders returned to SDA Bocconi to reflect on how the profession is evolving once again. From AI and decision-making to changing customer behavior, leadership and strategic transformation, the reunion became much more than a celebration of the past. It became an opportunity to explore what the next twenty years will demand.
Looking back reminded us how much the world has changed. Looking ahead reminded us why the EMMS community continues to matter.
Because great programs don't simply create graduates.
They create conversations that keep evolving.
Here's to the next chapter of EMMS.

Quanto costa davvero l'intelligenza artificiale?
