it's happening now at , our team composed by 5 different polimi departments is presenting at the polisocial monitoring board our project named: Health AND urban Space in Chamanculo, Mozambique is a initiative and a research project that promotes innovation in “slum upgrading” programs through multidisciplinary experimentation of long-term actions aimed at mitigating structural health vulnerability by combining sanitation and environmental projects.

Day 3 was spent on the field, exploring the barrio of Chamanculo C. Walking around the most important reference points of the neighborhood, the team collected valuable information to move forward with the research. It was an essential step of this mission to fully get in touch with the reality of the context.

Part of the working group of the research project arrived today in Mozambique for the first on-site mission. The trip aims to foster a constructive dialogue with the local partners on-site and collect essential information directly on the area of study that will allow for a continuing and better focused research.
On day 1 upon arrival, the group presented the research advancement to the Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo - Sede di Maputo and fondazione AVSI, key partners of the research.
